A blood spatter analyst for the Miami police, Dexter has seen his share of gruesome deeds - and committed a few himself. But when he investigates a particularly terrible crime scene at a local university, everything changes.

A little more woo-woo than the first two Dexter adventures, but still a great read. Highly recommend it.

Twas the night (okay, more like the week) before Christmas, and all through Pine Cove, California, people are busy buying, wrapping, packing, and generally getting into the holiday spirit.

    Story

This is one of my all-time favorite go-to Christmas stories. It's funny, irreverent and somehow captures all the elements that make up a perfect Christmas story. It's got angels, Santa Claus, transformations, love, changes of heart, sacrifices, a warrior babe, a brave dog, a talking fruit bat and--what no Christmas story should be without--zombies.

I'm a Christmas freak, and this story satisfies all my Christmas cravings. I've listened to it every Christmas for at least five years, and I still laugh out loud, causing Christmas shoppers in the mall to assiduously avoid eye contact.
