Nora Ephron returns with her first book since the astounding success of I Feel Bad About My Neck, taking a cold, hard, hilarious look at the past, the present, and the future, bemoaning the vicissitudes of modern life, and recalling with her signature clarity and wisdom everything she hasn’t (yet) forgotten. Filled with insights and observations that instantly ring true - and could have come only from Nora Ephron - I Remember Nothing is a pure delight.

I listened to this book on a road trip with my sister, and we got a lot of laughs out of it. If you are of a certain age, this can be most entertaining. Nora Ephron is humorous and has the talent to pick out the little parts of life that change as one gets older. Women will get a kick out of this!

At Westish College, a small school on the shore of Lake Michigan, baseball star Henry Skrimshander seems destined for big league stardom. But when a routine throw goes disastrously off course, the fates of five people are upended.

I spent a lot of time in my driveway listening to this book in my car. It was so good that I didn't want to turn it off. You love all these characters so beautifully described. You want this young baseball player to make it to the big leagues. It's not just about baseball--it's about lives and how they are ever changing and growing. A really good book! I'm recommending it to my book club and everyone else I know!

Before Liz Lemon, before "Weekend Update," before "Sarah Palin," Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV. She has seen both these dreams come true. At last, Tina Fey's story can be told....

Tina Fey is a funny girl! I loved her on Sat. Night Live and she is a comedic genius as far as I'm concerned. Enjoyable listen and I laughed out loud many times. Well worth the listen!

Stephen Sheerin was born to play on Broadway - or at least, under it. He's a musician, a conductor, and his dream is to music-direct a big Broadway musical. After years of toiling in the pit of some of the best-loved (and loathed) hits on the Great White Way, he's just been given his big break. Can life really be going that well? Of course not.

Michael says: "A *must-have* for any fan of Broadway or humor!"
"So this is what Broadway is like!"

Once I got used to Seth's voice, I enjoyed listening to his eccentric way of speaking. This might be what life behind the Broadway stage is really like--the life of singers and actors and directors and their personal lives. It leads me to believe that most people in the musical theater world are gay--is that right? Anyway, funny!

Meet Peter Brown, a young Manhattan emergency room doctor with an unusual past that is just about to catch up with him. His morning begins with the quick disarming of a would-be mugger, followed by a steamy elevator encounter with a sexy young pharmaceutical rep, topped off by a visit with a new patient - and from there Peter's day is going to get a whole lot worse and a whole lot weirder.

I couldn't believe that this medical resident was involved with thugs. . .and that he acted like a thug himself sometimes. It was a fun listen--didn't know what would happen next. The language is a little explicit, to say the least. Sort of a crazy book. I'm going to read the author's new book out next month.

“What happened to the America I thought I knew?” Brokaw writes. “Have we simply wandered off course, but only temporarily? Or have we allowed ourselves to be so divided that we’re easy prey for hijackers who could steer us onto a path to a crash landing? ... I do have some thoughts, original and inspired by others, for our journey into the heart of a new century.”
