"Can you say twisted?"
This book is loaded with twist and turns! I loved it! It kept me drawn into each of the characters. Can't wait to read the third story! This is a must read for sure!
"Hmmmmm! Really?"
This book sheds a red light on our political figures. It's trashy at it's best, painting a picture of the madness that took place to push to the presidential seat. The real side of people in politics with real emotions. I could see the good, the bad and the ugly side of trying to make it to the center of America, the White House!
"A little too much information. But interesting."
This book goes to great lengths to provide tons of information to educate African Americans while trying to maintain a story line. It is only because of Cary Hite that I was able to connect. I fast forwarded through most of the informative details when it became too heavy. I do however think that it was a great attempt to bring awareness to the AA community on illnesses, drugs, sex, addictions and STDs. Although this was a pretty decent book, I think that it would have been more appropriate to include this information at the end of the book for reference. Highly informative though.
"A real attention getter!"
Yes, I was hooked and listened to this book in less than two days. I could not put it down. You got some real grimy characters here. Ashley and Jaquivis are off the chain!
"Really good listen! Listened in 1 day."
I enjoyed this book a great deal. Annette was very relatable. I tried years ago to read this book and couldn't but listening to Floyd made it easy.
"This book gets too much hype!"
The erotic portion was delivered well. It wasn't too much but Mr. Grey was nuts!
The ending was a twist.
The narrator had a tough time trying to making the letters and emails sound interesting.
I must admit the book did gain my attention because I wanted to know the plot. It took a really long time getting there.
