When a vampire serial killer sends Anita Blake a grisly souvenir from Las Vegas, she has to warn Sin City's local authorities what they're dealing with. Only it's worse than she thought. Ten officers and one executioner have been slain - paranormal style. Anita heads to Vegas, where's she's joined by three other federal marshals, including the ruthless Edward. It's a good thing he always has her back, because when she gets close to the bodies, Anita senses "tiger" too strongly to ignore it.

    Evelyn says: "Finally, Anita's back!"

Ok - I was losing interest in the series because it was getting too sexual for my tastes (I don't need to listen to it all the time every 5 minutes). This one brought Anita back.... yes there was sex but not as much in my opinion as a few of the last novels. It was more of the supernatural and worth the listen. It even left me wanting to listen to more as it seemed to just end. Worth the credit I spent as a summer "chill out" listen.

Entertaining stories of nature with a moral lesson thrown in for good measure are fun as well as thought provoking. Children will be enthralled with the intimate look into the lives of the woodland creatures and their way of life. Subtleness in making a moral point is always a strength in Ms. Gatty’s stories.

We are doing "Ambleside Online" for our curriculum this year and we love audio books to do this because my daughters reading isn't the best. BUT - we downloaded this after strugglng with the actual book and my daughter is in heaven. It's divided into chapters making it really easy for me to assign a chapter for her to listen to. She understands and enjoys listening to it.

I'm rating this for my 12 year old son who just kept listening to the book. He loves historical fiction and this book was no exception. I downloaded it on a whim for him and he sat for close to the entire time just listening to it! 4 hours of grabbing a 12 year old boys attention says a lot in my opinion.

This Series, in seven parts, tells the story of America from the earliest founding through the days of Woodrow Wilson and The Great War (World War I). In this volume, you'll hear stories of explorers and pioneers.

I was excited to find this for my 9 year old daughter who loves listening to the first part which we got from librivox. However - this recording is not divided up into chapters making it very difficult for her to listen to. She can't stop it and then start again unless she writes down the time she stopped it and honestly for her age - that just doesn't happen. I'm actually a little bummed I used a credit on it - though I will probably still get the other parts because my daughter still likes the story line - I hope they change it.
