Four episodes of the television comedy series, including "The Smoke Screen", "The Ministerial Broadcast", "Official Secrets", and "A Conflict of Interest", in which Jim Hacker has reached No. 10, and Sir Humphrey Appleby puts a spanner in the mechanisms of government.

I have never seen the TV series and was not sure if I could enjoy this. I was wrong and I'm glad of it. I created the characters and scenery for myself as I cooked, cleaned and worked around the house. I love this and look forward to the other volumes, spring cleaning is fast approaching.

Another book that needs updating. I'm glad they have decided to use the word slave instead. Although the original wording proves the truth of the past. The very ugly truth about so many of the human race. Not quite sure why this is supposed to be such a classic.

Box-painter Richard "Goddammitwheresmyointment" Richards is thrown with a throwing throw into the deep end of weird when he stumbles across a portal to a strange and wonderful world full of evil ducks, Australian druids, and a mad, ginger-bearded dwarf who's angry at God for putting his knees on backwards.

Surely this guy who wrote and read this must be of the best character. He doesn't take himself too serious. This audio is good company during tedious tasks. I played it while I cleaned the big messy closet. It helped me push through the drudgery. Karl is a kick .

Steve Martin may have been born a poor black child but has grown into white lightening. This is oddly amusing.I'm sure there is someone somewhere who really understands the "this is the last time" guy. It makes my eyes cross he is so weird. Love that Dude.

  • Dirk Gently: The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul (Dramatised)

Harry Enfield exuberantly returns as Dirk Gently, who, fallen on hard times and dressed as a gypsy woman, is using his irritatingly accurate clairvoyant powers to read palms. He is saved when a frantic client turns up with a ludicrous story about being stalked by a goblin waving a contract accompanied by a hairy, green-eyed, scythe-wielding monster.

This performance of Long dark .... is better than expected. The updated version is how I believe Doug Adams would have done it. The actors flow was well paced and the sound effects were great at creating a visual for me as I did chores. I get a kick out of Adams work, he had a knee slapping humor. Bless his fun loving legacy. The goblin is a great added touch. They did a fantastic job of this. It helped me get the through the mid west winter blues.
