    I loved this book, it kept my attention for the full 14 hours. I read it originally because the narrator is one of my favorites and she did not disappoint this time either. I only wish this author had another book, I would download it now.

    Being from the South and white, this book made me both proud and ashamed at the same time. Thank God there were and are people that are like Skeeter who speak out against injustice and, that there are brave souls who put their lives and the lives of their families at risk to expose this injustice. This book was well written and I just loved the narration.
