Yes, eventually I'll listen to the whole series again. It's simply so good. So much action, great story, characters and since it's historical fiction you learn many things too.

It's been months since I listened and I still remember the ambush.

Narrator is strong. Listen to a segment first. Either you'll really like it or hate it.
I just bought the 4th book because I don't have the patience to wait for it to come out on Audible.

The Author has decided to cash in on his success and keep the story so slow moving that he'll be putting out books in the year 3010. I slid him a break on his last book but this one is even slower.

My next listen will be from an Author who has a story that moves.

I loved the first books, but this guy has become worse than Stephen King. He needs an editor. And he needs to get the story moving again.

This is the last Martin book I'll ever read.

You never know exactly what is going to happen. Lot's of surprises. The characters are really engrossing. Not so much the developement of Haralds character but his interaction with the other charactersThere is a certain sarcasm and humor about how Harald sees the world. The book is kind of gritty, Harald is out for Harald and not to save the world and that's one of the facets of the book that I like.

I really got a kick out of the Kings Jester.

While I'm not into British Accents, his accent was not so extreme that it was hard to understand. He really acted out the parts well and his voices were very good.I would suggest that you listen to an Excerpt if you are adverse to UK English.

I was really entertained. I couldn't wait to pick it back up again after dropping it. And certain parts were so amusing that I reversed and played them again.

While I never heard of this Author, and you probably haven't either, don't let that dissuade you from buying this book. It ranks among the best fantasy books I've read.. So If you are into stereotypical idealistic hero type, save the world, save the maiden, smite evil, novel stay away. Harald is a rogue trying to survive and get rich. In that order.

The Author cracks me up. This is light listening and it's just plain funny. The story is great with lots of twists and turns.
The Narrator was just perfect for the Book.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. It's not your gooey romance style Vamp book. Instead it's gritty,grisly and action packed.

His other books are very good. This one is the best yet. Historical Fiction at it's finest. Excellent Plot, Narration, Character Development.

I really enjoyed this Audio Book

This is a very gritty hardboiled book withnasty characters. The Protagonist is a real Bad Boy.

Listen to the preview first and if you like it you'll like the rest of the book.

The author just has a way of putting things that was a crackup.

I liked it so much I'm listening to it twice.

It was just kind of pointless.

Some sex, some drugs some action but there was no resounding moral or conclusion to the story.

It began well but than in the middle I said to myself "Wait a second what is the point"?

I liked this book,liked the narrator. If I can find one fault it was that I had trouble suspending belief.

We have scores of dead people rising and yet the authorities remained dumb. We had evidence of an unusual behavior of Bacterium and yet the head of the CDC is unbelieving.

Takes way too long for the authorities to wise up to what is happening.

I was very disappointed . Yes I was very disappointed when the book ended and there wasn't a sequel out yet.
This is historical fiction at it's finest. Great characters & plot along with a very good narration.

I reommend this book highly.
