"predictable and forgetable"
I love this series of books by Patterson and his co-authors, yet this book gives the feel that it was a rush to publish. The characters were too predictable leaving nothing to the imagination. To me, the book came across as being written over the weekend and not over agonizing months for character development. You may consider killing off the main characters to save face with your fans.
"Love is not a disease"
This book deals with Love and how society, and a controlling government deals with Love. We follow a 17 year old girl through her final year in high school, waiting for 'the procedure', her evaluation and finding love and other obstacles that challenge her perception and concept of what the future holds for her.
Sit down, hold on, and enjoy the ride.
If you like Catnis in Catching Fire, you might like Lena. The characters are similar, even though the stories are different.
I can believe that Sarah is Lena, her voice carries like that of a teenager. I feel as if Sarah carries me through the story, I can see what she is talking about, I can hear the feeling in her voice.
No, it took me 3 days to complete the book
Looking forward to book 2
"Escape to Northern Italy if you dare..."
Love the narration of this book, you can see the streets of Venice and Padua as the story is read. The book itself was well done, I was immersed in the story from the start. There is murder, human trafficking and stolen innocence. Step into the pages of Northern Italy for a short while.
