This is one of my favorites so far. Instead of the narrator sounding like he is reading a book, it gives you the feeling that it is happening at that moment. The author gives enough detail so that you feel what he went through without boring you with a lot of useless facts. Some people won't like the book because of some of the language, but this is about a hardcore motorcycle gang so you have to expect the language if you want to get the true experience.
I think there is too much time spent on his childhood but once it gets to his adult life it starts getting a little more exciting. Not the best audiobook I've listened to but it is still worth listening to.
This is a great book. There is a considerable amount of strong language but for this type of story it is justified. The narrator is outstanding. He gives the impression of everything happening at that moment. You almost forget that he is actually narrating.
I highly recommend this selection if you don't object to strong language.
I find this very relaxing. I have trouble falling asleep at night but with this I am usually asleep within the first 15 minutes.
