    Would you consider the audio edition of The Kitchen House to be better than the print version?

    I have never seen the printed version but to hear the voices and be able to work and listen to this wonderful book is so exciting.


    What other book might you compare The Kitchen House to and why?

    The Help, both are about women who are so strong through the worst of times.


    Which scene was your favorite?

    I cannot remember which was the best there are so many to chose from.


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    where Lavinia had to leave momma and Belle


    Any additional comments?

    The complete story is so moving and inspiring, I wish there were more books about such women as this.

    What made the experience of listening to The Help the most enjoyable?

    the entire book is so wonderful it is one I could listen to many times over!


    What other book might you compare The Help to and why?

    The Kitchen House it brings forth not only the trials of the slaves but the love that one person has for another.


    What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    I love hearing the voices of the characters and I loved the people that were picked to do the voices. they were perfect!


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    When Aibileen first talked about her son Trilore.


    Any additional comments?

    The entire book was wonderful the movie was great but the book gave so much more to the women and the life they had, as a child we had a wonderful baby sitter, I loved her dearly, she reminded me so much of Aibileen.
