There are a lot of monsters in Anita Blake's life. And some of them are human. One such individual is the man she calls Edward, a bounty hunter who specializes in the preternatural. He calls her to help him hunt down the greatest evil she has ever encountered - something that kills and maims and vanishes into the night. Something Anita will have to face alone.

"I am Meredith, princess of faerie, wielder of the hands of Flesh and Blood, and at long last, I am with child twins, fathered by my royal guard. Though my uncle, Taranis, King of Light and Illusion, claims that he is the true father since he abducted me from my home, betrayed, and defiled me. And now he has branded my guards as a threat to my unborn children."

What made the experience of listening to Swallowing Darkness the most enjoyable?

the story was great, the resolution a needed development for the characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

the best of any fey related fiction I've ever read

    Any additional comments?

although a very talented actress, the british accent for an american eleven princess was a horrible choice. I really hate it when the narrator changes when the regular one was doing such a great job.
