My daughter wanted to go see the Prince Caspian movie so I made a deal with her, I told her if she read the book I would take her. She never read a book this big, she was only 9 years old. So I bought her the book and I downloaded the audible book. Our agreement was to read the book together, so every day when I picked her up from school I played the book in the car while she read along. This allowed us to discuss the book and develop her comprehension. The book was great. The innocence of a child's imagination and their ability to believe in the amazing was awesome. The narration was some of the best I have heard. Great Book. Strongly recommend it!

I just finished the book. Took a couple of weeks of on and off reading, but very much worth the effort. I liked the book, the character development was great. The book was filled with twists and turns, something was always happening. As I was reading this book, I thought this would have been a great mini series, there were plenty of plots to cover many episodes. I would like to have my son read the book but the level of "adult reading" was pretty high. I ENJOYED THE READ! Thanks.

Sorry, this is a hard listen. I did not like the narration which made it hard for me to enjoy the book.

Back in my youth, I useto lock myself in my room to complete an Asimov book over a lazy weekend. The Caves of Steel brings back great memories. I love being able to revisit the stories. I drive a lot and being able to make my drives more enjoyable with this book is AWESOME! I am an avid pod cast listener, TWIT network and friends, and I am conflicted with having to make a choice between keeping up with my podcasts or listening to my books. Its good to have choices.

This book was great. I recently had to drive to Las Vegas for a business trip. It was one of those trips where I was spending the entire week doing work, attending a conference and meeting with vendors. Every one thought I was going to spend the week in the casinos gambling away, but every free moment I had I was listening to Pillars. I drove in from LA and from the time I got in the car the book hooked me. I was addicted to the story. I felt like I got to know the characters. The description of life during this period of time was awesome. I felt like I lived part of history.
