This book ranks in my top 5. I have a hard time putting a particular number on a book because I love them all...but this one drove me to tears
I loved when Ben finally broke down and came to terms with the fact that his parents were really gone. I didn't realize how important it was for me to see him acknowledge his parents death until he did, and my heart broke for him.
I loved his voices, his southern drawl. It was sexy when it needed to be, strong when it needed to be and kept me enthralled as much as the story did.
I couldn't rename this book. The title is so apt. We see a man at the height of his life brought to his knees, laid bare and empty. It forced me to see myself stripped to that nothingness and left me wondering how and if I could make it to the other side.
This book ranks pretty high. I can't give a number but writing this review gives an idea of how much I loved it.
I loved the chemistry between the main characters. It was such a tangible thing I felt like I could reach out and touch them.
I have listened to his narrations before and I've had no complaints. But this one, he wrung every emotion out of me. It was exquisitely done.
I was a mess listening to this book. Shouting in places, sobbing in others. I always break when the character that had been fighting the whole time surrenders. Web's surrender was sweet.
I only wished it was longer. I am already gearing up to hit replay.
This was a great start to the series...after listening to chapter 1, I went ahead and got the other 4 with no hesitation. The love affair was amazing...The story outside of the main couple was addictive. Fantastic secondary characters, Pablo, Syren, Mateo, Kane...All round Badass novel
I love that Angel...rough and tough gangster never thought twice about being the man Gabe deserved. He gave everything he had for them. You would expect that Gabe would be the one falling to his knees but Angel turned out to be the sensitive bastard that made me bawl
He spiced up the book with that Spanish accent ...Damn. The voice for angel...was fantastic.
What he does with the word "cop" should be illegal.
An unbreakable love.
One of the things I loved about this book was Pablo''s growth. From being in love with a ghost, scheduling love with an anonymous Levi, Off the charts hatred for his father (well deserved) ..to being the freaking hurricane that went to his man...his love when shit hit the fan. That man is a force of nature!!
The thing I love best about the story was Shane's determination to make Pablo his. He knew from jump that they were destined to be and he refused to let Pablo walk away from it. I cheered for him, cried with him wanted to punch Pablo sometimes ..It all started with a fight and he continued that fight for his man the whole time...it was beautiful .
The narrator did a fantastic job with all the characters but Pablo made me swoon every time.
The character i would take out surprisingly is Shane....surprising cause I''m a little in love with Pablo. But He is definitely one of the strongest characters Ive seen in a while. Nothing came easy for him, just when things started looking up Pablo turned on him, then the boss, then the Ex. But damn if that boy doesn't know how to fight for what he wants.
Yea...I admit JP is my favorite book boyfriend.
This would've been a good experience if the main character just killed himself.
This book would"ve turned me off from the genre if it was the first one I read. Thank God it wasn't
Th narrator was fine. The book was awful.
Redeeming qualities? My ears are bleeding. I've never had such a visceral reaction to a book before. The whole book is centered around a lying lying douchebag who still gets his happily ever after.
Honestly, The main character just made me want to punch him out. Every word out of this character''s mouth made me want to puke. possibly the worst representative of a human being ..yeah .. it was crap
I listened to this book twice, back to back on my firsts go....since then I have listened again and have started saying the lines with them so yes...I loved it
Most memorable moment...that's easy...They ran off and got married. Of course I'm screaming "'Tell Someone...Tell Carey" but that's just me..
I cant give the narrator any higher praise, she was absolutely amazing.
I have been hooked on this series since book one and I still got emotional. I still laughed , I cried...I have my fingers crossed waiting for thee motion picture.
I have recommended this book, the entire series as a matter of fact. Book one was so good I couldnt imagine being disappointed by book 2, and I was not.
Honestly, my favorite thing about the series is the character of Gideon Cross. He is the embodiment of the perfect guy which is silly yes, but its great to just imagine.
My favorite scene...I dont really have one. Sadly, I loved every minute of it
What moved me most about this book is we see how hard these 2 characters firght to stay together while their past kept pulling them apart...Gideon fights so hard to keep his girl no matter the consequences...it sweet.
I dont have the print version of the books to make a proper comparison but I will say the audio version is fantastic.
It reminded me of Fifty Shades of course, But I think this was much better written. The characters are great and the story line is quite compelling. I was hooked from beginning to end. .
The narrator was so good. I loved her voices for both leads, punchlines were on point. Every little laugh or sigh made the scenes that much more real.
I was very much moved by Gideon Cross the male lead. We get to understand most of what happened to the lead female but Gideon remained so guarded that whenever we got a glimpse into his past it was that much more heart breaking. I got emotional, I cried. It was unexpected but so very welcomed.
I would and have recommended this series to friends. It deserves to be on the big screens I love it so much
The narrator did an excellent job. in previous books I loved his take on Quinn and Blay and I was not disappointed when they became the focus of the story.
I listened to this book in one sitting and promptly went to the beginning to start again. I hardly got any sleep.
This is my favorite of the Sinners on Tour Series
I love Eric. He is so much fun. I laughed so hard my face hurt. He's endearing, doesn't hold back and forces you to love him.
Eric Styx and Trey Mills. The narrators voice on these two characters is awesome
I was in stitches listening to this book.
