The reader is in need of lessons. After two hours of the book I realized I knew nothing of what the book was about. If the reader could changer her voice for the different characters it would help.
Grisham has a great storyline along with some of the earlier characters from earlier books. Add a great reader and you have a wonderful read.
The characters I have read in early books are back.
Michael Beck is among the top five readers in my opinion. Great voice control and often you get to thinking there are multiple readers.
This book took a couple of days to complete due to interruptions at work but I enjoyed the anticipation of getting back to it.
Everything in this book is potentially real for today. I have found it difficult to put down. My wife listened first and found she was so angry with the dirty actions of our government. Our government could easily step over the line at any time. If you feel the constitution is valuable, read how some may attempt to discredit it in order to get selfish demands met.
Potentially possible for today.
Difficult to hear when he attempts to change from one speaker to another. One voice for all.
The story drags terribly in the beginning and it became a chore to complete. It seemed like they the main characters lost the ability to be rational beyond what is believable.
Have the teenage boy act like a teenager instead of masking everything to where everyone in the book is irrational.
The ending was the best but unbelievable.
No one would run into a dead end alley without more care than was displayed.
Not worth the money is correct but what is so bad is actually completing the book knowing it would never get better.
I did not consider it a book to offer anyone.
The book had no interesting themes and about 1 hour into it I still did not know what it was about. If Jo Nesbo writes this way on other books other people must enjoy something in it. Not me.
The book was impossible for me to get into. I have no idea who to cut.
Terrible book and a wast of time.
The book is very boring. I tried to listen several times but found the book with nothing to keep me going. I listened to two and a half hours but know nothing about the book. I have most of Nelson Demille"s books and enjoyed them. All I can say about this book is how John Corey comes across as a self centered jerk.
Scott Brick is a good reader but this books offers little to assist Scott.
I think the writer is low on new ideas.
The reader is not too good but the biggest problem the book leaves you hanging without an ending. It takes the full series to make one story line. They should have made this into one long book.
It does not have an ending.
Anger at the book company asking us to believe we purchased a book instead of 1/3 book.
I am torn between purchasing the third part to make a complaint and knowing what eventually happens.
I did not read the book but doubt it could be better than the performance given here. I completely enjoyed the book but thought the price was too high.
I enjoyed the thought that others can have a mind of thier own as well as the men.
I could imagine the problems associated with hiding and yet the need to survive. Surviving includes the ability to feel value in one's own life and value in others. Listening allowed my mind an opportunity to review my thoughts as well as those by the author.
I enjoyed the mental pictures developed while listening to this book.
This book is a great value for the money. I will listen again.
The book has great characters and is well read. I do not like the price. It is too expensive.
All the characters were good.
I particularly liked the way Elizabeth's dog reappeared after so long.
Background of Jack Reacher in knowing some of the things that entered into his makeup.
The plot never slowed or dragged down..
Dick Hill may not be the greatest reader but he certainly does a great job for this writer.
I had difficulty breaking loose from the book to complete other tasks.
