"Great for the Grisham lover with kids"
Yes. It is a good story without being to graphic, so younger listeners can enjoy it.
I think the most suspenseful moment is when they found... wait. I'm not spoiling it for you. Listen to the book.
No
Yes, and I did.
"A GREAT follow up to Clouds and Rain"
This is basically a follow up to Zahra Owens' Clouds and Rain. It is told from the perspective of the other people in that book. It is a great listen and really makes you soften your opinion of many characters in the other book. I recommend you read the other one first though.
"Short, Sweet, To The Point and VERY GOOD!"
This book blew me away! It is the story of a rise out of a dystopian society that is easy to listen to, easy to relate to and easy to get addicted to. In a world where personal pronouns (I, mine, etc) are replaced with WE, 1 man finds something that leads him to seek a way out. This is a great, short listen and you will simply love it!
"Much better than others in the series"
For some reason, I enjoyed this book quite a bit more than I have with others in the series. The story is better, Jeff Gelder's dictation is better, and the flow of the story is easier to follow. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has read (or listened to) anything by Andrew Grey. You definitely won't be disappointed.
"Not GREAT but Very Good"
This is not on the top of my list but it is a very good book. The narrator for some reason mispronounced a few words and on several occasions paused, put the wrong emphasis on certain words and just made some general mistakes. But the story is good, the narration, aside from the errors, was decent, and as with many other Andrew Grey novels, it was well worth my time.
"Who is John Galt?"
Read the book and find out! A great story of a dystopian society where the rights of man are undermined in the name of fairness. If you have half a brain, you can draw comparisons to things happening in our world today.
Parts of the book actually made my stomach turn. Not because they were gory or anything of the sort, but because the book is so well written that when I hear some of the opinions spouted by some of the elitists (looters, destructors, etc) in the book I actually feel as if I am in a real situation and those words are really being spoken.
I recommend this book to everyone. Share it with your friends. Listen to it with your spouse. Apply its principles to your daily life.
"The Beginning of an Awesome Set of Books"
This is the first of Andrew Grey's "Love Means..." series. If you missed it while listening to the others, go back and see where it all started. I consider it probably the best of the entire series.
"GREAT Story!"
First off, I have to say, if you DO buy this book and enjoy it, get the rest of Zahra Owens' books as they are basically parallel stories that tie in quite well. That being said, I really enjoyed the book. You can identify and empathize with the characters who are quite likeable in their own unique ways. I have no regrets in buying this book. I have no regrets in listening to it. In fact, it caused me to buy the other books which are also very enjoyable.
"Another Great by Grisham!!"
This book is one of those books that makes you think "Can they really do that? Is it really possible? How unfair!" but the scenario is completely believable and its written so well you will be wondering what is going to happen next. It does have a twist at the end... read and see.
"Blows the Movie Out of the Water!"
This is definitely one of those "Like the movie, love the book" type books. It is an easy listen, well read and well written. The story is easy to follow and the characters are easy to imagine... although while listening I couldn't get the original music to the 1950's movie out of my head.
"Not Very Thrilling. Somewhat Interesting"
As opposed to the movie based on this book, the text just drones on and on and on... and on. I really enjoyed the movie and figured I would really enjoy the book, but this wasn't the case. It is a GOOD book, don't get me wrong there, but it is more "the facts behind the story" type book. If your looking for a book about the excitement of horse racing, go somewhere else. If your looking for a book about bloodlines, animal husbandry, and family business, go ahead, waste your money.
