New York Times best-selling author Linda Lael Miller has earned a large and growing following for her wildly popular novels starring the Creeds and the McKettricks. As her many fans will attest, no one brings cowboys - and their affairs of the heart - to life in quite the way she does. With the author’s signature style, Big Sky Country delivers a scintillating tale that you will not want to miss.

What did you like best about Big Sky Country? What did you like least?

I thought the overall story was a bit weak.and I kept wanting things to hurry along.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

    No

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I really don't think there is much insight in this story.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

When he did the voices he was pretty good, but the narrating was flat.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes. I almost gave up within the first couple of chapters but decided to hang in to see what the hype was about (both good and bad). Even though I was disappointed in a few aspects I thought the storyline was unique and wanted to find out more.

Would you be willing to try another book from Anna Zaires? Why or why not?

I would be willing to try the second installment of this series written by Ms. AZ only to find out if it gets better after the first book.

What three words best describe Kathleen Godwin’s voice?

    Voices all same.

Did Close Liaisons inspire you to do anything?

    Nope

    Any additional comments?

I felt that Ms. Godwin was sincerely trying hard to do a good job with the voices but just fell really short especially those times when, I'm sure, Korum was speaking in a sexy, smoky voice and when there was any other exclamations or inflections needed.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes. I have always enjoyed listening to Maya Banks' books. I discovered her about two years ago and have listened to everything Audible has offered since then. However, it was obvious this was one of her earlier books. Her writing, characterizations, and emotions have come so far since 2008 when this book was written. Don't get me wrong - I liked this one; loved the differences in the three men, but the book was predictable and lacked, at least for me, the substance her later books have.

Would you be willing to try another book from Maya Banks? Why or why not?

    Absolutely, and have.

What does Adam Paul bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I believe Adam Paul's narration of Ms. Banks' books has gotten better and better with each book he narrates. At first it was difficult to get used to the difference between he and Harry Berkley, but, like I said, I think he gets better and better.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

    Not sure.

    Any additional comments?

Maya Banks will always be in the top five authors for me and most of the time #1. I have difficulty waiting for Audible to present us with new audio versions of her books, in fact, because I have listened to everything they have offered, I consistently go to other audio websites to see if anything new or different is offered.

So, Audible, step up your game and get some of the older books while awaiting Ms. Banks' new ones.

If you could sum up Down London Road in three words, what would they be?

    Anguishing, suspenseful, romantic

What was one of the most memorable moments of Down London Road?

So as to not disclose any secrets; Cam's anguish and confession to Jo after Blair's overnight visit and also the ending.

Have you listened to any of Elle Newlands’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, "On Dublin Street", she is amazing. I love the accents and Cam's voice was sexy and sultry and oh so heart-gripping when anguished.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Not Sure

    Any additional comments?

This was an amazing listen. I laughed, cried, screamed in my head "No - No", emotions stirred deep within me and I sat on the edge of my seat. There were twists and turns that kept things interesting.

I hope that Ms. Young continues to grace us with such emotional prose. Also, one can not help but feel bad for Malcolm, hope he is written, happily, into future books.

What did you like about this audiobook?

I loved that the adventure, the getting to know each other, the relationship and love was so simple, yet so emotional and mesmerizing. This was an amazing tale of two people who only wanted the unpretentious out of life, both searching for something neither knew and finding each other in the process. Makes one believe in fate, both wonderful and not so inviting, but fate nonetheless.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

When Andrew showed Cam his tattoo of Orpheus and Eurydice and explained why the tattoo wasn't finished.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

It took awhile to get used to her narration, but after awhile it got better.

Do you have any additional comments?

This was by far the best romance book I have ever listened to or read. Any story that can make me bawl or make me laugh out loud and still have the elements of romance such as softness, sexual pleasure, and adventure is outstanding. This book had it all for me. J.A. Redmerski, this is my first book of yours; I will try others after I recover from my extreme emotional state. Thank you both, author and narrator.

Would you try another book from Lori Foster and/or Jim Frangione?

Yes. I've listened to other LF books and JF's narration. It took me awhile to get used to JF and he got better & better with each narration, however, both LF & JF were quite disappointing this time. The story was somewhat mundane and predictable and the narration was more of a "reading" than a narration. There were no differences in the voices and inflections were off. Really sad this time. I was so looking forward to this one.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Not much excitement or interest. The least interesting thing was the fact that the entire story was a little boring.

Did Jim Frangione do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    No.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

    Better narration.

    Any additional comments?

    Quite disappointing.

If you could sum up Wicked Cravings in three words, what would they be?

I liked that there was continued interaction amongst all of the characters. I liked that the first book moved seamlessly into this one. I also liked that there was a lot of emotion, hot steamy explicit sex and there were stories within the stories, but all came together in the end.

What other book might you compare Wicked Cravings to and why?

I am very much interested in this author and her version of "Shifters". I am anxiously awaiting the next book.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Yes. The author explains the difference between straight human and human shifters such that it is plausible as well as a different spin than I've read before. I like Suzanne Wright's spin.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Nothing. I think she did an excellent job. The male voices, especially Dante's was great. All of the different tenors of Dante's voice depicting anger, dominance, grief/sadness, lust, even his laugh she did a great job with. The different female voices were also done superbly.

What did you love best about Lover Awakened?

Zsadist has always been my favorite (always out for the underdog). Love the tenderness you see in him periodically. I loved that he found love.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lover Awakened?

Bella's persistence and when Zsadist's eyes turn.

What does Jim Frangione bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like this entire series. All characters and plots are entertwined and are built upon with each book. I am glad that we don't loose characters as the books continue.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Nothing. Jim Frangione's narration is getting better and better. I can say that at first I disliked his narration - he was too flat, but now he's great.

    Any additional comments?

Looking forward to finding out what happens with Torment and why what happened to Wellsey happened.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I don't know about tiime well spent except I listened to it while I was doing other things and don't regret it.

If you’ve listened to books by Kelli Ann Morgan before, how does this one compare?

This was my first and unfortunately probably my last. I loved the characters, the 7 brothers and dad sound amazing and I'm sure we'll get to hear about them all eventually. I also liked the twists and turns of the story (except I figured out "who dunnit") and the twists made me continue, but a little too religious for me.

What does Troy Duran bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Thought his narration was really great.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

Not much romance - more drama than romance. I probably would have put a little more heat or chemistry into the story.

    Any additional comments?

For those of you who like "romance" I'd probably either look somewhere else or pray she spices things up a bit. For those of you who like twists in a drama, this one is probably for you.

Where does Jacob rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Right up there at the top. I was astounded by this book. This was my first Jacqueline Frank book & my first time listening to Xe Sands as narrator and I hope that this partnership continues.

What did you like best about this story?

The story plot was not a typical paranormal/supernatural/immortal plot and JF’s imagination and thought that went into the creation of the demons’ elemental essences was nothing short of incredible.

What does Xe Sands bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her narration and inflections for the different characters drew me into the conversations and I forgot that it was only one narrator. She did an excellent job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I believe that when the demons were describing to Isabella what they were, their elemental lifeblood, was the most heartfelt and soulful part of the book.

    Any additional comments?

I appreciated how JF continued to enhance Isabella’s personality and being. The story just continued to expand & intensify the world of the demons and other Nightwalkers.
