Most of us think of sales as convincing potential customers to believe or do something they don't really want to. But that cutthroat mentality makes the process much harder than it has to be—especially in an economic downturn, when customers are more suspicious and defensive. It's far more productive (and satisfying) when salespeople think like Go-Givers and focus exclusively on creating value for the customer.

Would you listen to Go-Givers Sell More again? Why?

Yes. This book really makes you consider what's important in life... work/life balance... why are you in your sales job... are you really in it to help people or are you simply trying to enrich yourself?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Go-Givers Sell More?

One of the best quotes from the book..."It's not WHO you know, it's who knows YOU." There is also a great discussion about the "Rule of 250".

    Any additional comments?

This book provides a road-map to illustrate how nice people can succeed and how this path will ultimately lead to more sustainable success. Highly recommend!

There's an old saying: if you eat a live frog first thing each morning, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that it's probably the worst thing you'll do all day. Using "eat that frog" as a metaphor for tackling the most challenging task of your day, the one you are most likely to procrastinate on, but also the one that might have the greatest positive impact on your life, Eat That Frog! shows you how to zero in on these critical tasks and organize your day.

Would you consider the audio edition of Eat That Frog! to be better than the print version?

If you're interested in this book, then you're probably a busy person who doesn't have the time for reading a paperback... so, I recommend the audio edition. Easy to listen to in the car!

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Eat That Frog!?

It's easy to fall into the trap of tackling the myriad small tasks that overwhelm our daily to-do lists... Eat That Frog forces you to think about procrastinating on the little stuff and focus ALL your energy on the biggest, most important tasks. Sounds obvious but few people I know do this with consistency.
