This was a great book!!! Enough suspense, enough action, really good character development....I wish I could see this charaters in another boook.
If you like Stephen King or a book surrounded by a location , like a building in this case, you'll like this.
Loved the book, but wish I had stopped reading after main plot was over. Once the screen writer starting blogging, I did care for it. But the first part of the story which is the majority of the book is very good.
It's still Grisham, so the writing is very good, but the story lacked action or suspense.
There was a long slow middle that really didn't seem to have a lot to do with the story.
Then when we get answers, they seem to hurry though them.
Would not recommend to read, but okay to listen to.
I tried to give this a chance, but I wanted to know more about the Dome, and less about the real world....slow moving and the story was based on a small situation instead of the bigger issues. Not another "Hunger Games".
Liked the characters and the tension; Loved the corporate law issues as well as the criminal law; As good a read as a Grisham novel.
Hoped it was similiar to the movie....it's nothing like it.
Too much narrative...Too much talking to himself.....Not enough plot.
Set back around 1975...so seemed out of date.
High tech corporate espionage at its best. The narrator is the best with subtle changes in his voice so you know who’s talking without being distracted. The high stakes of corporate espionage along with a rages to riches story was a great combo.
