If you're expecting this to be a substitute for an MBA course, you'll be disappointed, and rightly so. If, however, you are looking for an excellent summary of a great deal of critical business, psychology and marketing concepts, that any aspiring entrepreneur or successful business owner should know, then this is the audiobook to get your hands on.
It's 13 hours, but i'll still be giving it another listen in a few months or so, a testament to it's quality. Highly recommended.
I found myself both impressed and concerned regarding the character of Chris Kyle. I believe you will too. An inside look behind the lines, so to speak. A good listen.
It’s about time I read the classic based on the letters. Excellently done with multiple voice actors.
Clearly an amazing and quizative mind but damn, it reads like a train of consciousness thats completely come off the tracks.
An engaging story with a few poignant points but not a huge amount you can apply to the real world and another rehashing of age old wisdom. Worth a read.
A simple concept, well executed. I found it very helpful and inspiring to listen to endless routines and rituals of some of the worlds greatest talents. The main thing I took from it is that there really is no ‘right way’, everyone does it different.
A thought provoking book though after a little research I found a lot of the examples used to back up his ideas lacking. Still, it helps shape your thinking but I feel Malcolm is a far better marketeer than he is a thinker - similar to Seth Godin in that respect.
A book that took my completely by surprise. Who would have thought a book so detail rich and engineering focussed could be so incredible engaging. Definitely one of the best works of fiction I have every read - unique, fascinating and thoroughly captivating.
Absolutely loved this twenty one hour epic story. I was lost in the world of Dune and the characters that inhabited it. I drew inspiration from it’s protagonist and sought wisdom from it’s words while being thoroughly entertained by its plot. I had no problem understanding its incredible appeal and worldwide success. Truly a great work of fiction.
A very interesting insight into the making of Pixar and how little the creative ‘geniuses’ new about what they were doing. What stood out was the sheer time and planning process of the movies and the dedication and love poured in by the creators. Pixar really was and is a work of great passion and commitment.
Another very average self help book from a guy whose only platform is one built online. Not much new or helpful in this work, one for the change junkies.
