The story was compelling and the performance very good. I became frustrated with the heroine. It felt one sided and she never learned her lesson about the cost of arrogance and pride. Loved the hero and the children. Great historical setting.
A writer this good should have a better vocabulary. Great story, main characters and supporting ones are deep and well developed. The story is compelling. Continual use of curse words is unimaginative and lazy on the part if the author. Cleaned up, this would be great book.
This is a light and fun story. It begins to drag a bit in the middle and you will want to help the characters along. But stay with it -- you will be glad you did.
The ending is charming and surprising. The story comes back around to a true crescendo. I was smiling all through the last.
Rosalyn is consistent, she defines each character well making it easy to dive into the story.
I loved the ending musical. Delightful.
Heartbreaking captivating romance
She does a wonderful job of giving just a hint of the Scottish brogue in the Lord Ian and brings to life the Sottish brothers.
Wonderful romance listen with unique characters who will draw you into their lives. There is a great mix of strength and vulnerability in the Mackenzie men, the women are both soft and brave. Enjoyable from beginning to end. I'm looking forward to then next book in the Highland Pleasures series.
A unique story. The characters are each flawed and strong. The story pulls you along without dragging on too slowly it continues to promise more. You will like the characters and empathize with their trials. But it is mixed in with some fun. Very entertaining.
I enjoyed this. The story is good and the performance entertaining. I was engaged in the characters an cared about the outcome,
