  • The Count of Monte Cristo (Dramatized)

    • ORIGINAL (59 mins)
    • By Orson Welles
    • Narrated By Orson Welles

Starring Orson Welles, Anges Moorehead, and Ray Collins, The Count of Monte Cristo is a tale of revenge and retribution. Edmond Dantès, a young, energetic sailor, is falsely accused of treason on his wedding day and incarcerated in the forbidding Château d'If. His escape and ultimate revenge on those who wronged him makes this one of the most thrilling stories in French literature, as compelling now as when it was first published in 1846.

    Stefanie says: "Excellent"
    "First timer of the C.O.M."

  • One Nation: What We Can All Do to Save America's Future

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 18 mins)
    • By Ben Carson, MD, Candy Carson
    • Narrated By Prentice Onayemi
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

In February 2013 I gave a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast. Standing a few feet from President Obama, I warned my fellow citizens of the dangers facing our country and called for a return to the principles that made America great. Many Americans heard and responded, but our nation’s decline has continued. Today the danger is greater than ever before, and I have never shared a more urgent message than I do now.

Michelle Love says: "Please lead our nation from the brink of..."
    "Exactly what America need!"
What did you love best about One Nation?

The cure for America's moral decline

What did you like best about this story?

The overall assessment of the State of this Nation

    Which scene was your favorite?

The revealing startling story of the Florida university professor.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Rise and Fall of America Diverted!

    Any additional comments?

Liberalism...the Iago of Barack Obama who will as tenderly lead him by the nose as asses are. This liberalism poison is as destructive as 100 Hiroshimas.
Progressism-Liberalism is led by the elite wealthy and atheistic hard Left that is as cold as Lenin's tomb. To the Left, mentioning God-Jesus is an offence worthy of American style Archepelego Gulag imprisonment with Saul Alinsky, Margaret Sanger, Bill Maher, N.A.M.B.L.A., Charles Darwin as National Nannies.

  • Intellectuals and Society

    • UNABRIDGED (11 hrs and 22 mins)
    • By Thomas Sowell
    • Narrated By Tom Weiner

This is a study of how intellectuals as a class affect modern societies by shaping the climate of opinion in which official policies develop, on issues ranging from economics to law to war and peace. You will hear a withering and clear-eyed critique about (but not for) intellectuals that explores their impact on public opinion, policy, and society at large.

Chlo-bell says: "An efficient attack on liberal philosophy."
"A real up-to-date expose' on liberals!"
Where does Intellectuals and Society rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

On par to past social media junkets of mainstream, profound and right on point!

    Any additional comments?

I'll need to listen again for clarity.

  • Screwed!: How Foreign Countries Are Ripping America Off and Plundering Our Economy - and How Our Leaders Help Them Do It

    • UNABRIDGED (10 hrs and 51 mins)

    "China the culprit"
What made the experience of listening to Screwed! the most enjoyable?

How China has an army of hackers and crackers

What was one of the most memorable moments of Screwed!?

When it was revealed that you don't have to build an army to conquer nations the same can be done at the negotiating table.

Have you listened to any of Pete Larkin???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Any additional comments?

The liberals are destroying America and if Obama is reelected immorality will be the norm. Just as Europe is rotting inside and worse than WWI and WWll combined the damage being done by liberals. The path of least resistance will overtake this nation and wear down America's defenders of patriotism, family values, and will be interpreted as hatred, bigotry, racism, un-American, homophobism, if not already. It'll get to the point to being a criminal offense i.e. fines, confiscationeven jail. Even those in the atheist community has actually mouth-off that teaching Creation as opposed to evolution is child abuse. It is past the infancy stage and to a large degree threatning to become law. Even while the crazed maniacal terrorists are becoming more bold, ruthless and diabolical. "Screwed" define the heart and pulse of America.

  • Alexander the Great's Art of Strategy: Timeless Leadership Lessons of History's Greatest Empire Builder

    • ABRIDGED (5 hrs and 39 mins)
    • By Partha Bose
    • Narrated By James Langton

Alexander the Great endures as one of the most admired and emulated leaders in world history. In our time, his example of unprecedented and unparalleled success has inspired leaders of business and government, from media mogul Ted Turner (who keeps a bronze bust of Alexander in his office) to Desert Storm commander General Norman Schwarzkopf (who credits Alexander's tactical innovations for his dramatic flanking maneuver against the Iraqi army in the liberation of Kuwait).

    G Barth says: "Fascinating"
"Alexander the Great's Art of War"

Well written and narrated. Worth listening to for history buffs. These specifics can be applied in many ways especially young students beginning at about 5-7 years old.
