No matter where she looks, Jasmine Molina's life is hard: her mother passed away, her brother is fighting overseas, and all she has left in the world is a drunken gambling addict for a father, a man who steals her hard-earned tips every time there's a "sure thing" at the track. Behind in her tuition payments and the utility bills, the last thing Jasmine needs is a spoiled-brat rich kid making her life miserable.

Ella Slade is a new author to me. Her story was cute, but unrealistic. It was a very nice listen and the narrator did a fantastic job. I found this story a fun diversion from life. The premise for the story is somewhat "Cinderella" and insta-love. There were some unexpected twists in this book which I enjoyed. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher, and/or narrator. My review for 4 stars overall is because I found the story unrealistic, not because it wasn't enjoyable.

I was captivated by this magical listen. Both the author and narrator were new to me. I so enjoy it when I discover a winning combination. Part of this book was laugh out loud funny (fairy godfather Vincent) and the antics of the pups. I enjoyed the total escapism of this delightful listen. The story has some fairytale elements with a fun twist. The narrator added much to the enjoyment of this book with her enthusiasm and distinguished voices for various characters. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Four women. One amazing tale. This box set contains Chasing Someday and Tomorrow's Lullaby, the two novels in the Chasing Tomorrow series. Chasing Tomorrow: Three women. One struggle. When a school book drive brings Megan, Christina, and Kyra together, their uncomfortable secrets soon come to light. Tomorrow's Lullaby: When Sienna McBride placed her baby for adoption, she never dreamed that two years later, she'd find herself falling for someone who resents his birth mother for not keeping him.

2 books in 1. Both stories are intermingled with some characters, and so many emotions. I thought the author wrote some amazing books that focused on adoption and the feelings involved. I thought she wrote it beautifully in that the mother's were giving their children better lives, not because they didn't want them, but because they loved them. That mentality was huge! The range of emotions that were presented in these stories were from happiest to lowest, singing to crying, and everything in between. I felt the joy, the sorrow, the forgiveness, the inner peace, and the love. Well done by both author and narrator. Tiffany Williams added so much to the book with all of the emotions she performed, and the various characters. I was glad to listen to this thought provoking book. Dead Calm is a good story that pulled me in. Typically I listen to romances with a few murder mystery or action stories thrown in for variety. It took me a while to warm up to the narrator, but after a short while I thought she did a good performance (3.5 stars) with the various characters. I think I prefer a more dominant voice for police/thriller story. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I thought the author did great with the twists in the story.

I so enjoy books by Leslie North and this one is no exception. The story was a great second chance at love between 2 people who never got over their breakup with each other. The narration was wonderful in the duet format. Both Marcio Catalano and Marnye Young added so many emotions that one would not get just reading the book. I loved their banter and chemistry. It made the relationship of Trinity and Sam seem much more real. I also loved the brother's interactions with each other and Trinity. This book is a standalone listen and the new beginning to a series. I look forward to hearing the next story. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

Kudos to S.W. Hubbard for that!!! The imagery in this book was so good. I loved hearing the family secrets that were revealed. Without giving away spoilers, I can truly say I was surprised with the way the book ended, and totally satisfied.

I couldn't have scripted a more perfect night. For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I'm not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine - multimillionaire. But who's counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I've ever met. And that's why I'm eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge...bank account. Everything's coming up aces. Until the next day, when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash - a lot complicated.)

Lauren Blakely writes such feel good while you listen books that have some endearing characters. I loved Angel and Duke (alias Sabrina and Flynn) in this book. The imagery and descriptions in the story were outstanding. I loved the concept of Pineapple Math and Flynn's description of Sabrina being a wordsmith was so neat. This book has so many wonderful facets that pull the listener in. I so enjoy listening to Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. They were spot on with their POV and various voices. I thought this book had some Cinderella-esq vibes to the story with how some descriptions and comparisons were worded. This book was so good, its hard to summarize all the wonderful details and points I took away from this listen. I will definitely listen to this book again.
Also, included in the audiobook was a short novella that was fun to listen to and it was performed by Andi Arndt.

Tracy Weber's books pull me in from the very beginning. Must be a dog thing, as I'm not a yoga person. I found the one liner's to be laugh out loud funny. Some of the characters were so endearing while others were not. I found myself rooting for some of the birds too! I loved how the author wrote some very unexpected twists in the book. Haley Rosewood's life has never been easy, especially not with a class-A jerk for a boss and a marketing job that barely pays her enough to provide a roof over her daughter's head and food for the table. Every day is a struggle, and the thought of being romantically involved with anyone is a dream she doesn't dare indulge. Devon Carrington is the type of man to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, and when he finds Haley struggling through a bad day, he does everything he can. Story

I found this book to be very good and it pulled me in. I thought the basis of this book was very good and realistic. I can understand the want to be independent and not accept help from others. This story features Hailey, a single mom, and Devon, a security businessman, Allison, Hailey's daughter, and Mrs. German, the grandma-like neighbor of Hailey and Allison. Devon was attracted to Hailey for months before he bumps into her. I liked how subtle and persistent he was in pursing Hailey. They had a major miscommunication which resulted in them not being together for a while. Hailey's antics to avoid him were very realistic. A life changing event then happened which brought them back together. Things seemed like everything was great and the story ended. Not a cliffhanger ending, but open to continuation. Without giving away spoilers, I must say the author wrote a great story and featured some thought provoking things. Kudos to Stacy Easton for another great book.
This was the first time that I had heard Julie Walters and Gene Branson perform. They were good, but didn't have as many distinguishable voices for the various characters as I was hoping to hear. The delivery and performance was flawless, but not exceptional. I think I'm sometimes too picky with expectations of performance. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to the next book in this series.

This is definitely an adult book and intended for mature audience with language and situations. Overall I really enjoyed this book and found it to be a standalone listen.
