What disappointed you about No One in the World?

I didn't appreciate the predictability in the story line. And the narrator was horrible. It almost felt as though he was making fun of the characters. His voices were less of a theatrical change, but more of a mocking unenthusiastic change.

Has No One in the World turned you off from other books in this genre?

No. But, if this is the kind of narrative quality I should expect from this author, I will save my credit and just go to the library.

Would you be willing to try another one of Alan Bomar Jones’s performances?

    NEVER!!!!!!!

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It wasn't a terrible book. But if you're seeking depth and dimension..... This book is not for you. It it too predictable.

Sunshine State trivia buff Serge A. Storms loves eliminating jerks and pests. His drug-addled partner Coleman loves cartoons. Hot stripper Sharon Rhodes loves cocaine, especially when purchased with rich dead men's money. On the other hand, there's Sean and David, who love fishing and are kind to animals - and who are about to cross paths with a suitcase filled with $5 million in stolen insurance money. Serge wants the suitcase. Sharon wants the suitcase. Coleman wants more drugs... and the suitcase.

Where does Florida Roadkill rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Absolutely a book that makes you think. I like this book very much. An author that truly understands that life does have a "gray area".

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I wasn't at the edge of my seat, but I was pleasantly surprised about the angles the author took. This book thinks outside of the box. I found a book that sees Florida as I see it. No offense, but the state of Florida is definitely "special" to put it mildly.

What three words best describe George Wilson’s voice?

I was able to identify each character. Everyone had an identity. Very well done.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction, But totally worth the listen and the credit. I am not easily amused nor am I ever startled or surprised but anyone's behavior, but this book made me laugh and had me raising my eyebrows. Very well done.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I do enjoy James Patterson books very much, however I feel that maybe he is taking on a bit more than he can chew. Probably spitting out books too quick with no true thought behind them. This book is a bit hard to follow. I did not enjoy the characters. There were some very slow areas in the book that made me fast forward so that I wouldn't fall asleep. It was a bit hard for me to get through.

What was most disappointing about James Patterson and Maxine Paetro ’s story?

The whole story threw me off this time.

What three words best describe Peter Hermann’s performance?

boring, slow, undetermined (characters weren't differntiated properly. I wasn't quite sure who was who at times.)

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No. I would purchase an Alex Cross Book, And maybe even another Women's Murder Club book, but definitely NEVER a Private audiobook.

This installment was an absolute let down. I absolutely love the work of James Patterson, but a little more effort should have been put into writing this book. It just didn't read like a complete addition to the women's murder club. There didn't seem to be much effort or thought when it came to a storyline. It was really a waste of a credit.
