This was a very enjoyable story and I always like Renee Raudmans narrations. I lots of times I find books by looking for a fav narrater rather then an author. This story had a good plot and enjoyable characters. It is a great curl up and relax book not a I can't put this down kind. Well worth the credit and one I will listen to again.
First time into the steampunk genre but I loved this book. Great story line and the narrater was superb. Will be getting next one asap.
What more can be said after 37 books with each one a superb story with the very best narrater for these stories. I feel like I KNOW every "person" in these books. I can actually see them as I listen. I can not say enough about Nora Roberts and these books but also Susan Ericksen who has brought not only Eve and Roarke to life, but Mavis, Somerset, Charles, Feeney, Tibble, Dr.Meara, not to mention Peabody and McNabb, oh and Crack and Nadine. These people are so real I just can't wait to hear what happens next, They all have such individual personalities and the voices OMG great. great. great, I laugh, I cry, I smirk, I feel joy and sadness with them all. I have listened to this series multiple times and will continue to do so. These characters touch my soul,
Here again a great story with well thought out plot. Loved the narrater, and the fact she used someone else for this second in the series. Sometimes you need the same narrator but with this it works. I liked the first book but this one was even better. I don't see a third??? Hope there is a story for each of the four remaining brothers coming soon.
I liked this first book in the series. I have read a lot of romantic suspense and I think the thing I really liked about it was the author has strong male characters with dangerous occupations and ex military backgrounds and portrayed them as such without every other word being a cuss word or f...ing this and f...ing that. These guys were believeable and very male and dominant guys wothout being crude. My hats off to you Robin P. The narrator was good and I liked the storyline. I will get the next story right away to see which brother is the lead character.
I like shifter stories but man if no one can come up with some new twists soon that genre is so over for me. This series is fairly good, and I will most likely continue with it but it is basically the same story about a different "pack". Narration was good. The best shifter stories I have ever read was the series by Shelley Laurenston and Jennifer Ashley has a good series also.
I don't know what I expected but this was just bad. The narration was ok but not great. I don't mind sex in books, and by the title I obviously will read about sex with a kink. This was just smut, no real story. If you are going to read something a little on the kinky side try Masters of the Shadowlands, or Dark Haven Doms. At least those have some kind of story in them, even if not entirely believable.
This was a freebie around Valentines day and so glad I picked this one up. With the glut in the paranormal market this was a refreshing change as it was a little more on the comical side. Love it when I laugh out loud when reading a good story. I always enjoy Sophie Eastlake, and again she was perfect for this read. I will be looking for more by Molly Harper.
I have enjoyed most everything I have read by Ms Carr and as I have said before Therese Plummer does a wonderful job with the narration. I like the Grace valley series, but truth be told I prefer Virgin River.
This trilogy came first with Virgin River as the spin off. I love Therese Plummer and am so glad she narrates all of both series. These stories are the best get away stories ever. You got to love the people Robyn Carr has created. I like that she has her " family" of characters experience love, death, happiness and pain. They are loveable and flawed.
I don't dislike Sandra Burr, but she is also not my first pick a narrator. Then again narration is in the ear of the listener. I have read numerous complaints about Tanya Eby but I find her a delight to listen to. As far as the story goes it was good and I liked the characters, but it was predictable. That being said I will most likely listen to it again some rainy afternoon where I don't want to concentrate to hard.
