"Don't waste your credits on this one."
I've been listening to audio books for many, many reads. . . this narrator has killed this story for me. I plan to actually read the next book.
"Really? Are you kidding me?"
Those are the words I said throughout this whole book. A cowboy vampire that is not sexy because every other word is
Nope, I've been a fan for too long now!
The narrator is only as good as the writing. Ms. Gilbert had no chance to make this one a good read, in my opinion.
All of the damsel in distress that then turned into the damsel as the hero scenes.
I think I've said enough!
"A Southern Accent - NOT!"
This book, was quite trite. Although I can put up with that, the narrator has definitely made me quit listening to this series. A southern accent doesn't have to sound breathless constantly. It could have been good . . .
"Love the Series. . . Hated the Narrator"
I read all of this series the old fashion way, but decided to get this one in audio. I was disappointed with the storyline, but it did redeem itself towards the end. This narrator simply read the book, no difference in character voices, no playfulness, righteous anger or emotion at all. It really made the story that much harder to get through. I wouldn't suggest buying this one in audio format.
"Breaking Dawn (Unabridged)"
Ok, so I am admittedly a little older than a teenager, so I may be biased. Most good books build to a climax, and end in the same manner in which the build was written. This book did not do this in any way, shape or form. I feel like this book could have been so good, but the author felt it was getting too long, so let's hurry up and wrap it up! And that's exactly what she did, in my opinion.
"Really, Really good!"
This started out so slowly, I almost put it down, since I am a long way out of High School. Then the pace picked up and now I can't put it down! I'm here to buy #2 and #3. So be sure to give it a chance!
