"not a very interesting book however"
I love Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, and Sense and Sensibility, are great books to read. However, Fanny, the main character in Mansfield Park is less engaging than all the other characters in the 3 previous books mentioned. She would be someone less sure of herself, and I believe people can some times relate however.
"Great book, but the narrator puts me to sleep."
I would rather have read this book on my own than listen to her narration.
Ari sounds tired ALL THE TIME!
I can understand Tracker's low voice, but there is no feeling in Ari's voice that shows any personality that I know she has.
I'm so disappointed.
Take my advice. Buy the book and read it yourself.
"Great story and PERFECT narrator"
This is one of my favorite stories by Jane Austen. And to have it read by one of my fav narrator is so wonderful!
Her voice does need a bit of get use to. But her abilities to make each characters come to life, and do it so well, well, that's priceless!
My first read by this narrator was for Pride and Prejudice. Her enactment of Mrs. Bennett was the best I have heard from any Jane Austen readers.
