In 1998, three Harvard Business School graduates - two men and one woman - turned down six-figure salaries at big corporations, bet on themselves, and launched their own new companies. By their 10-year reunion, their audacity had paid huge dividends. They'd made many millions of dollars, created hundreds of jobs and left their mark on the world. The Intelligent Entrepreneur tells the compelling and instructive story of how these three young founders did it.

    Mark C Walker says: "Disappointing"
"Loved it - Must read for entrepreneurs"
    Overall

It was a long audio book but well worth it. More than the 10 rules, I enjoyed and learned from the stories of the three HBS entrepreneurs.

For the first time, Influencer brings together the breakthrough strategies of contemporary influence masters.

Read "How To Win Friends and Influence People" instead. Much better book and much more interesting.

Stephen R. Covey's book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, has been a top seller for the simple reason that it ignores trends and pop psychology for proven principles of fairness, integrity, honesty, and human dignity. Celebrating its 15th year of helping people solve personal and professional problems, this special anniversary edition includes a new forward and afterword written by Covey that explore whether the 7 Habits are still relevant.

Russell B. Ivey says: "Great book bad audio"
    "It was ok"
    Overall

It was a good book. Interesting read. It just sounded too much reference to religion and God.

A groundswell is sweeping through your customers. Right now, they are writing about your products on blogs and recutting your commercials on YouTube. They're defining you on Wikipedia and ganging up on you in social networking sites like Facebook. These are all elements of a social phenomenon - the groundswell - that has created a permanent shift in the way the world works. Most companies see it as a threat. It's time to see it an opportunity.

I work as a part time webmaster and liked the book. It wasn't much new information but it sort of puts everything I already knew in better perspective.

    I suggest reading it.

Have you ever been lied to? Of course you have, whether you knew it or not. Ever caught a spouse, business partner, parent, boss, or child brazenly lying right to your face? What if you could tell someone was lying, just by listening to them, and observing their action and behavior? Here's the first audiobook that gives you the tools to figure out what's really going on.

    Lorelei says: "Highly educational"
    "Didn't like it"
    Overall

I didn't like the book (audio) at all. I actually didn't even finish it. It was more of an army interrogation rather than spotting liars in daily encounters.

For the same price you can find better books on this subject.
