"Business today requires new perspectives," argues Peter Sheahan, one of the youngest and fastest-rising international consultants. In Flip, he shows that to succeed in a small-world economy, companies must distinguish themselves by finding a new way of doing business, one that systematically reexamines every single aspect of running a company.

What disappointed you about The Next 100 Years?

    Absolutely no research.

What could George Friedman have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The book was enjoyable, like a book of jokes. The USA would dominate because programming language is in English.

There's an old saying: if you eat a live frog first thing each morning, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that it's probably the worst thing you'll do all day. Using "eat that frog" as a metaphor for tackling the most challenging task of your day, the one you are most likely to procrastinate on, but also the one that might have the greatest positive impact on your life, Eat That Frog! shows you how to zero in on these critical tasks and organize your day.

Some very bad examples and case studies (like an accountant setting up pricing strategy). Outdated in terms of use of technology to improve productivity. Review written in 2014.

In It’s Not Just Who You Know, Tommy Spaulding—the former CEO of Up With People—has written the new How to Win Friends and Influence People for the 21st century. Success—in business and in life—is all about relationships. In this powerful guide to reaching out to others, Spaulding takes Dale Carnegie’s classic philosophy to the next level—how to create lasting relationships that go well beyond mere superficial contacts and “second floor” relationships.

I can't say what could have made this book better but I know the book has so little substance and no depth. It a very good book for school kids who are starting to enter the real world. The book has very little to offer for a seasoned professional.

A very good biography. Covers both the good and bad aspects. In my opinion there are several management lessons and takeaways. One could also infer the type of challenges the company could face after Steve.
