I listened to this story about 3 years ago when I first bought it. Then I thought, "wow, what a little whiney brat"!
When I was going through my library, I saw this title flash at me and I though, maybe I should give it a second shot. When I heard it the first time, I was going through a sad divorce. So I re-listened to it. Now being very happily married with a great attitude, I re-listened to it....
AND now I can safely say that the main character is still a whiney little brat.
Through the whole book she is complaining. She made it sound like a gun was pointed to her head and she was forced into this married life that she was in. This was different from all of the rest of Giffin's books. The main character to me was not likable, playing the victim and being the constant martyr.
I would say, save your money and pick something else.
Wow, Mary Beth Hurt, the narrator did an amazing job with this book! I have never heard this actress narrate before.
This was a very good story, one that I usually don't listen to but I was extremely surprised. The character development was excellent.
I was very disappointed after I finished this book. Although Megan Hilty did an okay job with this book I felt that that author just rushed writing it.
Not at ALL like the first book. So if I had to do it all over again, I would of passed on this book and purchased something else.
I thought it was a cute story. Will I think about it now after I am done with it, nope. But it kept me entertained and I liked the characters. I really thought that Orlagh Cassidy did a great job.
I like it when there are a few characters and we get to hear all of their perspectives. As always for me, in the beginning it's hard to remember who is who, but once I got over it, I really liked the story. Very engaging.
Listening to this book and hearding Debbie Reynolds was very awkward. It was like she was randomly gossiping. I have a feeling that she needed some more money and that is why she decided to write this book. It was like she was tattling on everyone but herself.
After listening to this book, all I can say is that she is a foolish woman who picked the wrong guys and never blamed herself. Don't bother.
I was very disappointed in this audiobook. I have been doing a lot of driving and the first one made me want to keep driving. This second one was bad. I loved the focus on the main characters in the first one. This one, I really didn't care to hear all about Cloud's story at all. I don't recommend it.
Cassandra Campbell is my favorite. The story kept me listening. I went through it in 3 days. I will have to look at the other books by this author.
I have no idea
The narrative was bad, 2 people. The story wasn't grabbing my attention
Well, I didn't have any power for a week but I did have this book, it was a good distraction.
Well, it was funny, I liked all of the characters in it.
I really enjoyed Kathe's performance on this. I am going to look her up to see what else she has done, she did a wonderful job.
Look up more Gigi Levangie Grazer books. Again, it made me laugh at times. It was a very sweet and funny story.
I wanted to go back to a few characters that she only touched on. I wanted to hear about the end result with Ollie, etc.
I like Greta.
