Listening to this book was time well spent if only to relive the magic of the story, I so fondly remember from my youth. However, the poor narration by Ax Norman made it extremely difficult!
How could it have been better? How about a little emotion in the narrator's voice! The guy whispers exciting parts of the story like he's recording in a library. On the rare occassion that he does add some inflection to his voice, it's the wrong emotion. It's as if he has no clue what he's reading. He may very well be a great guy, but as a narrator for a beloved series such as this, Audible dropped the ball. They should be embarrassed.
