I found this series in the "Sale" items. I finished this book and purchased the rest of the series. A few days after I read the first book I found out that it was now going to be a movie! I am pretty excited about it. If you like the Twilight series, the you will like this series too. If you do not like teenage love stories with magical characters, then this is not for you. The events are a little predicable, but what teenage love isn't? I hope you enjoy.

This was a good book. I just recently started listening to Nora. I found this book kept me interested and happy to know what was coming next. However, it ended a little abruptly for what I would have wanted. Still a great read and can't wait to listen to another one!

This book, and I will assume the series are along the lines of Twiglight. However, this book is not for the teens when it comes to desribing the sex scenes. I may listen to the other books, but no one right after the other. The story line is different, but again it makes me think of Twilight and Fifty Shade mixed up with eachother. Oddly, I read both the Twilight and Fifty Shades series and liked both of them very much. I'm just not sure why this book did not entertain me as much. It might be due to the paranormal aspects of the book. I'm not sure.

I did not realize that this book was written so long ago. I also did not know that it was made into a movie a few years after the book was written. I will be renting the movie, for sure. This book was a little slow in some areas, but overall it was a good read and a good story. I will be checking out Scott Turow's other books.

Lunacy was Nate Burke's last chance. As a Baltimore cop, he'd watched his partner die on the street - and the guilt still haunts him. With nowhere else to go, he accepts the job as chief of police in this tiny, remote Alaskan town. Aside from sorting out a run-in between a couple of motor vehicles and a moose, he finds his first few weeks on the job are relatively quiet. But that's about to change.

  • Endgame: Bobby Fischer’s Remarkable Rise and Fall—from America’s Brightest Prodigy to the Edge of Madness

From Frank Brady, who wrote one of the best-selling books on Bobby Fischer of all time and who was himself a friend of Fischer’s, comes an impressively researched biography that for the first time completely captures the remarkable arc of Bobby Fischer’s life. When Bobby Fischer passed away in January 2008, he left behind a confounding legacy. Everyone knew the basics of his life—he began as a brilliant youngster, then became the pride of American chess, then took a sharp turn, struggling with paranoia and mental illness. But nobody truly understood him.

What a crazy ride he had. There were many things I never knew about Bobby. I am not a big chess person, but this story is so entertaining. It is hard to believe that all of this actually happen. You hear about the glory but never the struggles and madness of him. If you like books with interesting and unpredicatable characters, the read this book.
