I was hesitant to purchase this book, thinking its length and being a life story I would loose interest. Not so at all, this is one I hated to shut off!! Very well written, both interesting, "educational" and inspiring! I say God Bless all of those people who not only were able to "put up with" Mr Jobs but were able to do the work, while he took the credit, because he had the "drive and vision"! I gained so much respect for him in that his drive was not for money, but to leave a legacy . I do believe our world is better because of them all! I will definatly listen to this again soon!

A woman with a murky past who kills herself-or was it murder? A dying old man cared for by the son he pummeled mercilessly. A lovely woman whose life is about to splinter into a thousand fragments. A professional shoplifting ring racking up millions in stolen goods. A brutal and unscrupulous gangster. A wandering husband, rich and powerful. A spoiled kid awash in gambling debt thinking he can beat the system. A lonely widower mourning the death of his lover, desperate for answers that may be worse than the pain of his loss.

I am a true Sue Grafton/Judy Kaye fan! I hope Ms Grafton gets as much pleasure writing about Kinsey as we get listening to her "adventures". Am hoping the alphabet continues!! Ms Kaye puts so much life to Kinsey! The allready wonderful tale is only made better with her narration!

Why we think it’s a great listen: Gaiman’s not just an award-winning author, but a narrator who earns rave reviews – and fields requests from other authors to perform their books, too! Nobody Owens, known to his friends as Bod, is a normal boy. He would be completely normal if he didn't live in a sprawling graveyard, being raised and educated by ghosts, with a solitary guardian who belongs to neither the world of the living nor of the dead....

It took me a bit to get into this but soon was hooked! I realize it is not the type for everyone. But I thought it was very entertaining with good lessons and a good message hidden in there! Mr Gaiman not only is a good author but narrates very well also!

Mere Christianity is C.S. Lewis' forceful and accessible doctrine of Christian belief. First heard as informal radio broadcasts and then published as three separate books, The Case for Christianity, Christian Behavior, and Beyond Personality, Mere Christianity brings together what Lewis sees as the fundamental truths of the religion.

The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.

The narrator is excellent! I backed down to 3 stars on the story only because I occassionaly got "lost". An abridged version may be better. I will listen again, and am sure it will be even better. I like to think that this is really what is happening as it leads to armageddon!!

Mr. De Becker does an excellent job of explaining why we do what we do, anallizing our thought process, reaction and why. His narration is excellent! Cesar Millan had referenced this book in his book "Be The Pack Leader", also explaining why we react or fail to react. Thank you Mr. De Becker for taking a horrible childhood and turning it into a blessing for so many!

I never would have taken time to read this book as it just isn't a type I would normally choose. The reviews I read tho had interested me. It took me a little bit to get with what was going on but soon I was hooked! I thought Sarah Drew did an excellent job of "performing" the story And was so thankful to have gone thru the "learning process" with Samantha! As one of the other reviewers said this is a "must listen" for anyone!!
