For LAPD homicide cop Harry Bosch - hero, maverick, nighthawk - the body in the drainpipe at Mulholland Dam is more than another anonymous statistic. This one is personal. The dead man, Billy Meadows, was a fellow Vietnam "tunnel rat" who fought side by side with him in a nightmare underground war that brought them to the depths of hell.

out of all 3 of his books divinci code, angels and demons this is by far his best book, my great grandfather and my grandfather were both part of the free masons; neither would talk about it and it was quite frustrating. i learned more about their world and the free masons, thank you for giving me the understanding

Few books have captivated the imagination and won the devotion and praise of readers and critics everywhere as has George R. R. Martin’s monumental epic cycle of high fantasy that began with A Game of Thrones. Now, in A Feast for Crows, Martin delivers the long-awaited fourth book of his landmark series, as a kingdom torn asunder finds itself at last on the brink of peace . . . only to be launched on an even more terrifying course of destruction.

In a time long forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons off balance. In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. As the cold returns, sinister forces are massing beyond the protective wall of the kingdom of Winterfell. To the south, the king's powers are failing, with his most trusted advisor mysteriously dead and enemies emerging from the throne's shadow.

Would you listen to A Game of Thrones again? Why?

Normally i listen to audio books in my car with the 126 mile per day commute, sometimes it was hard in the beginning to pay attention to all the players, took me 3 times to listen before i got into it and feel in love currently on a feast of crows and cant wait for a dance with dragons. Haven't seen the series but from what i head very true to the books, that's going to be next!

Who was your favorite character and why?

    SPOILER ALERT
at first i thought the "starks" were the leads in these book but they are all dead, a lot of twists and turns with new players coming into the book

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

What did you love best about Under the Dome?

had me hook from the 1st chapter; this was an incredible listen and would suggest to listen or read the book 1st before you watch the series. The only problem i had with this listen was the end, typical stephen king doesn't appear he knew how to end the book? Really dumb ending

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

What made the experience of listening to The Help the most enjoyable?

keep in mind over and over 1960's all emotions come up front; laughter, outrage, and tears. This a must listen or read, can't wait to see the movie
