If you could sum up The Forgotten in three words, what would they be?I loved the story itself however a narrator can completely ruin the story. Thankfully the female narrator had little to do with this for if she had had more of a part, I would have had to return the book. While her voice, tone and inflection is good, the speed in which she reads ruins the book and when she speaks this fast...her voice becomes quite annoying, similar to running your fingernails down a chalk board.
If it is possible, I would have Orlagh redo her parts or completely redo the entire book.
How did the narrator detract from the book?Her voice was grating and irritating. I think if she slowed down, it would improve greatly.
Any additional comments?I think Orlagh has the potential to be a great narrator but not unless she slows down. This isn't a speed reading contest.
