    Eric says: "not so much"
"Everyone show read this book, Its WONDERFUL!!"

  • Before Jamaica Lane: On Dublin Street

    • UNABRIDGED (11 hrs and 5 mins)
    • By Samantha Young
    • Narrated By Lee Angel
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

The follow-up to the runaway bestsellers On Dublin Street and Down London Road. Despite her outgoing demeanor, Olivia is painfully insecure around the opposite sex - usually, she can't get up the nerve to approach guys she's interested in. But moving to Edinburgh has given her a new start, and, after she develops a crush on a sexy postgrad, she decides it's time to push past her fears and go after what she wants. Nate Sawyer is a gorgeous player who never commits, but to his close friends, he's as loyal as they come.

Jordy says: "The story of Olivia and Nate. Loved it!!"
"Love the characters, Hate the bad Accent."
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Despite the bad Scottish accent, I loved the book. There is a good story there, and it doesn't go exactly how you anticipate.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love how Olivia started out weak, but became very independent. She grew stronger and a little bit stubborn.

What aspect of Lee Angel’s performance would you have changed?

I did not like the male voices at all. I hate to sound mean, but she sounded like Dracula. I don't think a Scottish accent is for her. I think Elle Newlands has done the best narration for both the male & female voices. I work with a lot of people from Scotland, so I'm used to the Scottish accent, and that wasn't one.

    Any additional comments?

I will listen to the book again because I love the story and the characters despite my dislike of the male narration. It is worth the credit.

  • Motorcycle Man: Dream Man, Book 4

    • UNABRIDGED (13 hrs and 52 mins)
    • By Kristen Ashley
    • Narrated By Kate Russell

Tyra Masters has had enough drama to last a lifetime. Now, she's back on track and looking forward to her new, quiet life. Until she meets the man of her dreams. The tattooed, muscled biker plies her with tequila-and the best sex of her life. She knows it isn't the tequila and hot sex talking. He's the kind of man she's always wanted. Unfortunately, he's also her new boss…

Jordy says: "Holy Mother of Delicious Hotness!!!"
"NOT what I was expecting!! It was BETTER!"
Would you listen to Motorcycle Man again? Why?

I am listening to Motorcycle Man again right now! I fininshed it & loved it so much, I wanted to relive every moment immediately.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the unexpected meanings behind the way he touched her. I always enjoy KA's twists & turns that have you holding your breathe. And I love how you know the characters from past books, which gives you history & and a sense that you've known them all your life.

What about Kate Russell’s performance did you like?

I like how she sounds like one of your girlfriends talking when she does the females' voices, but I didn't really like the way she did the male voices. But it didn't make me not want to listen to the book again.

    Any additional comments?

This is my FAVORITE of the Dream Man Series!! I wasn't expecting it to be since I'm not really a motorcycle lover. Boy was I WRONG!!!
