"Excellent book"
An excellent book describing the facts of evolution. The narration was excellent. I will listen to this one more time to let it sync better. All religious fanatics should read this book and learn about facts of life and reality of nature.
Being an astrophysics and theoretical physics fan, this book answered my questions of where we come from and for what purpose we are here, it's an answer that an individual has to find it for him/herself. I found mine.
"Great scientific reality check"
I would listen to it again but only the selective parts, since the narrator is bad. After first 15min I thought the narrator is going to die, the way he spoke was like a 95 year old man with no energy and mono-tone sound. It was a rough listening. But loved the story and the information.
As an engineer I loved the technical information and sequence of story/documentary.
Probably I would, if narrator is a younger more energetic sounding person.
Tag line would be Reality Check. Discovery Channel should buy the rights to make a mini-series from this book. it will be awesome.
"Great book"
A must read for anyone working or unemployed. It teaches self discipline, tricks of the trade to manage whatever business you have. I'm considering to buy the paperback, to get easy access to the web links and phone numbers.
"Very good story"
It was an engaging story, the narration was excellent. The pace was a little fast, but to the point. Any murder mystery lover will enjoy this book.
"Interesting romance"
This was an interesting novel. I was surprised with the twist of the romance story. I wonder if all vampire stories are love/romantic stories. The two narrator concept was excellent.
"Great Story"
It's an excellent trilogy, this being the third book. I truly enjoyed the story.
I just saw the movie of the first book "The girl with Dragon Tattoo" it was in Swedish with English subtitle. The Lisbeth character was excellently portrayed, but a lot of details we naturally missing. Hope they make movies of the 2-nd and 3-rd (this book). To follow the story must start read the books in sequence.
Narrator was excellent too.
"A great story"
If you are a light minded science fiction fan, then this book is not for you. This is a true story of real science mixed with biography of the author.
I enjoyed it very much and was touched by the strong motivation gained by personal tragedy. That is a big price to pay. I wish my kids had such a focused motivation, but without paying a big price. This was a very enlightening book.
"Excellent geek story"
As a geek and technical person I enjoyed the story very much. As my friend says; I popped a nut listening to this.
For none geek or techies you'll still enjoy the action packed story.
"Slowwww"
This was my first and last book I read from Stephen King. The first 8 hours was extremely slow paste and very little to do with the Dome phenomenon, luckily I fast forward my iPod, before pulling the plug on this story. There is so much deviation from the main theme of the story, specially when introducing a new character.
But on 2-nd 8 hours the story picked up in slow paste. At the end there were a few loose ends, but I think Stephen King did that on purpose and left it to the readers imagination, which makes the story less entertaining to my opinion.
This story is for people that have very little to do and will not get bored with slow paste stories.
I was hoping for more adventure or suspense, but the plot lacked it. However the narrator was excellent.
"Classic Victorian time story"
I don't know why I picked this book but I'm glad I did. It was a great story, cross between Count of Montecristo and War & Peace.
This was a pleasant reading/listening, the narrator was great. If you are into 18 or 19 century type stories, I strongly recommend this.
"Excellent book"
As a fan of astrophysics and theoretical physics, I loved this book, since it explains everything in simple English. It answered several of my questions about universe.
I strongly recommend this book to science fans.
