"Great Book!"
I loved this book. After recently reading a Koontz book which was almost too awful to finish, i was worried about this one, but found it to be wonderful. I fell in love with the dog, and felt like Nora and Travis were friends of mine. I was so wrapped up in this book that i found myself finding reasons to drive so that i could have an opportunity to listen. And if you ask any of my family, they'll tell you "Keep it down so Mommie can hear the book..." I truly enjoyed it and was almost sad when the adventure ended.
I would (and have) recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story, great characters, and lots of plot twists and turns.
"GREAT STORY! I loved it!"
The author made me fall in love with the main characters. My heart swelled when the story was told through Maggie's eyes. What a wonderful story of redemption, love, and devotion.
This story kind of reminded me of something that Koontz would write (minus the scary stuff)... with such a strong k-9 character, who was developed so well, it's hard to not see a slight similarity. I came to truly love and respect both Maggie and Scott.
Leland... I love the attitude he gave this guy. It made me laugh! I could see "the scowl" in my mind, thanks to Andrews' performance.
"We are pack."
This was my first read of this author's books. I am officially a fan! I loved every minute of it, and am looking forward to reading more!
"Good story, but it's a copy, i think..."
I enjoyed this story A LOT! The characters are great, and the story keeps you asking, "how the heck is he doing that!!" Lots of twists and turns, as well. thing is, though, I read "the Good Guy" by Koontz right after, and realized that they are very similar.. i was a little disappointed about that. So if you've already read the Good Guy, I would still recommend, but I'd caution you that many of the themes in this book are the same.
"Wonderful!"
This book was wonderful. The twists and turns... I found myself rooting for the family and saying "good for you!" outloud as Laura overcame her obstacles. I enjoyed this book immensely and was sad when it ended. Would DEFINITELY recommend. NOTE: Don't try to pick apart this books scientific accuracy on time travel, it WILL give you a headache! PARADOX!! PARADOX!!
