George Orwell's classic satire of the Russian Revolution is an intimate part of our contemporary culture, quoted so often that we tend to forget who wrote the original words! This must-read is also a must-listen!

More than a million listeners have thrilled to Bill O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln, the can't-stop-listening work of nonfiction about the shocking assassination that changed the course of American history. Now the anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts in gripping detail the brutal murder of John Fitzgerald Kennedy—and how a sequence of gunshots on a Dallas afternoon not only killed a beloved president but also sent the nation into the cataclysmic division of the Vietnam War and its culture-changing aftermath.

I was so intrigued from the first word. I was only 2 years old when Kennedy was killed and I loved hearing the time frame of his term as well as the very personal side of his life.

I have read every one of Baldacci's books. Big Fan
You would be hard pressed convincing me this one was really his and not a ghost writer or one of his early, early efforts dusted off now his name is big.
Starts out extremely slow...builds to a decent read.... ends strongly.... right before it plunges off the cliff. Leaves you wondering what the hell just happened when it ends.
Very long, mediocre effort on narration and weak story. Skip this one!

What did you love best about WAR?

Hard to listen to because of the content and nature of war but very well written book.
The performance made for an easy listen and riveting experience.
Really helps you understand how hard it would be to experience those things and return to
a normal life here in the states. CRAZY!

    Any additional comments?

More than anything else... It make me very very appreciative of those in uniform and the deep sacrifices they make for me, my family and all my loved ones.
    THANKS!

Privately training with a seasoned Special Forces drill instructor, he’s honing his skills to transition his work within The Campus from intelligence analysis to hunting down and eliminating terrorists wherever he can—even as Jack Ryan Sr. campaigns for re-election as President of the United States. What does Lou Diamond Phillips bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

Great performance by Phillips. He is spot on with his characters.

    Any additional comments?

I laugh at the liberals who have panned the book as too severe in their vision of Nirvana existing in their world today.....WAKE UP!
    Great Book, very timely!

In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.
