"Loved it!"
I hated to see this book end--the character development was great and I can see it becoming a movie!
"fascinating"
I found this book to be very informative--things I never knew about Lincoln and the demons he dealt with all of his life. The author implements current medical knowledge to explain the torture Lincoln's mind endured during a time when not much was known about depression. Well worth the listen!
"horrible"
This book was too over the top for me--zombies and gore. I could not even finish it because it disgusted me--not at all what I expected.
"The Best!"
I was sad to see the end of this series and I am hoping there were will be more Jamie & Clare adventures. I was totally addicted to the Outlander series and the last book is not to be missed. I only wish it was available in unabridged!
"Great southern story"
I loved this book! The author's narration was "spot on" for the mountain accents and the characters were so interesting and intertwined, I was sad to have this book end. I highly recommend it!
"Okay"
Jonathon Kellerman is one of my favorite authors and I was interested in this book because of the location--the marsh, protected land, etc. It was just okay--I still love, Milo, Alex, Robin and Blanche, but this story needed more....something....it was lacking somehow and very predictable. Maybe I have read too many of his books (all of them, in fact), so I can predict the endings. It was an okay read...just not great. I look forward to the next one in the anticipation that it will deliver the usual Kellerman twists and turns.
"Loved it!"
I really loved this book--it touched on so many ethical issues and the characters were very real people--you can feel their emotions as they struggle with right and wrong and what is "expected" of them. It is very worthy of your time.
"Informative"
I found this book to be very informative and it made me very aware of the different personality types and why they act the way they do. I thought it was really worth the listen.
"Hilarious!"
Stephanie and her co-horts do not disappoint--you will be laughing out loud at their antics--a wonderful "feel good" book!
"Predictable"
While I disagree with the other reviewers about Kate Reading--I think she does a great job and cannot imagine listening to a Scarpetta novel without her voice, I do have to say the plot was very predictable. It was okay, but her other books were so much better. I can understand why someone who had not listened to her other books would not care for this one--you really do have to begin with the older ones to understand the characters.
