Very interesting, well written, great book! But the author should have had someone else narrate. His voice squeaks and cracks like a teenage boy. He actually reads it well, its just the squeaking that bothers me.
This book might be great in print, but in audio it sounds like a rambling list of facts rather than a narrative-style. Impossible to listen to.
I loved the story. Its captivating and beautifully written by Elizabeth Gilbert. However, the narrator's use of a thick South Carolinan accent everytime Conway speaks (which is very often--there's a lot of direct quotations) drove me crazy.
