I can't say it was time well spent, but it's better than television. The story was slow rolling like travelling across Kansas. Nothing to see.
No, they great vocal range but the story does not do them credit.
Absolutely I will listen to Dragonfly again. The story is an ever evolving glimpse into the Jamie and Clare's lives, apart and together.
Jamie Fraser is my favorite. His enduring love and strength for Clare and his home. He sacrifices everything to do what he feels is right.
When Clare tells Brianna about Jamie for the first time.
I would not. The name is exactly what the story is a life caught in a moment, frozen forever.
It's a good book, if not a little long winded. It is very vivid in its description of thing I had long forgotten in my youth. I grew up in the late 70's and 80's and remember fondly arcades, Joust, Pacman, Quest, and many of the other things mentioned. I recommend it if only to remember and relive your childhood as an adolescent in the 80's.
The memories of thing long stored away in my subconcious.
A flair of the science fiction and a good voice. I am a fan of TNG and his other credits, this just adds to the enjoyment.
Futuristic 1980's reboot!
Outlander is at the top of the list! This story has it all; romance, suspense, violence, terror, and disgust. If you don't love this story and hate this story you're not alive. Diana is a superior author, painting a 3D picture of her characters. The vivid portrayal of the characters is brought to life by Davina Porter's performance. The book is long but you'll never know it. The story grabs you and holds you down til the very end. You wont be disapointed!!
The setting in 18th century Scottish highlands. You can just imagine you're standing in the fields of the highlands. Such literary vision is rare, and very welcome.
Two rank together: her decision to stay and her punishment. One absolute love and devotion, the other absolute brutality and pain. Both amazingly vivid and breathtaking.
Yes, I loathed shutting it off when necessary. I listened to it for hours at a time.
Only that I will listen to it again because the story is amazing and Davina Porter is a talented narrator who I love listening to. Her voice is fun and wonderful to hear.
This is one of the best stories I have read on Audible.com. I had never read Little Fuzzy. I can see why H. Beam Piper's family allowed this book to be published.
Jack Holloway, he isn't what you expect.
Wil Wheaton is fantastic!! I am a big fan of his acting and now he just re-enforced my enjoyment of his talents. John Scalzi has done a great job! I am a fan now.
Not wanting to provide any spoilers, but the security tape after the cabin burned down.
If you want a very good story with mild twists and turns, some laughs and heart string pulling, this is the story for you. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the bonus of having the original story makes it just that much better.
It was vividly real. I could 'see' everything. You will live the story over and over even after the book is done.
Annie is complex, real, and vulnerable. She is the story.
No but she is magnificent!! She brings the story to life. I will look for her performances again.
A grab you by the throat thriller you'll love to hate!!
I have not read the print version so I cannot give an accurate answer.
Yes, the story was slow to begin but when it picked up speed, you better hold on. It was like a roller coaster, slow at first but then BAM!! you're in for a ride!! You never knew what was gonna happen next. The ending was crazy!
In the front yard of the house when his car was vandalized. Although there were many good ones. Her reaction was just perfect in the situation.
Mob hits, intrigue, romance, and comedy, what more could you ask for??
Yes, it is an original story, not the same werewolf tales of old. An excellent tale of Lycanthropy.
There are not very many original takes on the fantasy demons (lycans, vampires, etc.) but if one book comes to mind it would be Interview with a Vampire. A hero fighting the demon within.
NO, but I look forward to it!
I would not suggest it. It is very long and can be confusing in places. Taking a break and coming back gives the reader time to process the information taken in.
An excellent read. I recommend it for those who want a fresh take on werewolves.
Imaginative, interesting, odd
The secrets in the walls.
He is a good narrator. A little odd with the voices he tries to portray, but still keeps the story moving along well.
I do not want to spoil anything.
Long story, kind of odd (but I like that). Plenty of turns and blind corners.
The story moves well through the investigation but it is a typical Cross novel. Not to say that is a bad thing, it has twists and turns mking you think. Well worth the time.
The narrators' inflection and tempo move the story along well. Some parts make you wonder but all in all good job.
