I've just started listening to audiobooks again, enjoyed hearing the characters read by their respective genders. The story begins quickly and captures your attention. Set in rural West Virginia makes this yarn earthy and the characters believable. (a real "page-turner")
I am not a cowboy story fan, however, this book is so well written I could not "put it down". Fun, witty, and clever interaction between characters kept me laughing and entertained.
Good story with a believable hero. I would like to listen to more of this character. Narration was superb.
I prefer books with heroes and endings, this one had neither. Waste of money.
Slow start slow middle and still slow toward the end. Walked off, will return and finish when I dont have anything else but the radio to listen to.
What can you say about a story where the good guy wins? Narrator (Guidall) is great as usual. Listening to another Mitch Rapp series book as I type this review. Very entertaining!
This yarn was a slow start. I listened long enough to get into the plot although it was not easy. If I hadn't been driving I would have shut it down. The narrator was good enough, the plot was good enough, but Jason Bourne did not seem to be the main character with far too much attention to details unrelated to his character.
