"Disappointing"
Flesh out stories more. Not so much preaching
No. Not a good read/listen
none
Won't happen!
Have been reading Heinlein all my adult life (over 40 years) and this is about the worst story that I have read by him.
I was really excited when I saw a Heinlein story that I had never heard of or read. The experience was very disappointing.
While this was written in the early years it just did not measure up to other stories from that time frame.
"Glad the series continues"
Read first 3 books in order and enjoyed them very much, especially the descriptions of the times, places, and lives of ordinary people. Was a bit disappointed in the 3rd book ending just as the 2 brothers found each other.
Very glad to see book 4 come out to continue the story of these 2 men and their lives together.
Gene Engene is the perfect reader for any western. His voice characterisations and delivery are perfect.
"Great fantasy stories from a woman's point of view"
The stories are very erotic and arousing, putting the listener in a woman's mind as she enjoys her fantasies.
Reader is very good.
Only drawback is the LENGTHY introduction by the editor. Could have been cut by at least 5 minutes - maybe even 10.
"A VERY DIFFERENT THRILLER PLOT LINE"
This story will keep you guessing right up the the very end! Hurwitz has broken out of the typical thriller genre plot and come up with an engrossing and believable story that has you wondering what is happening and why all the way through the book.
I don't want to give away anything so won't go into the story itself other than to say I stayed awake all night to finish the book.
Scott Brick in not one of my favorite readers but he has out done his usual droning performance in this story. This is easily his best performance that I've heard.
This book is well worth the price of admission.
"Great story & Outstanding Performance"
Yes. Well developed plot and story and great performance by Susan Ericksen
The humor and relationship between Dallas and Peabody.
Susan Ericksen's performance brings the characters alive and gives them depth that I probably would not get just reading the novel.
Laughed a lot at the dialog betwen Dallas & Peabody and other quips made during the story.
Have listened to every Eve Dallas novel and enjoyed every one of them and without Susan Ericksen's performances they would not have been as enjoyable.Plan to re-listen to whole series (including short stories) very soon.
