In New York...a tall, slender woman leaves her husband a note on the refrigerator saying that she's leaving -- but can't tell him where she's going. And in England...a beautiful twenty-three-year-old mathematician prepares for a journey that will change her life forever.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This book was painful to say the least, I have listened to twenty five books this fall and this one was not worth the time it took to hear it.

What didn’t you like about Martin Gollery’s performance?

Martin gollery needs to find another line of work he is NOT audible.com quality. My nine year old son reads better.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Both anger and disappointment. Anger for having spent money on trash and disappointment in audible for selling trash. Did anyone review this book before you started to sell it.

B.J. Novak's One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories is an endlessly entertaining, surprisingly sensitive, and startlingly original debut that signals the arrival of a brilliant new voice in American fiction. A boy wins a $100,000 prize in a box of Frosted Flakes - only to discover how claiming the winnings might unravel his family. A woman sets out to seduce motivational speaker Tony Robbins - turning for help to the famed motivator himself. Five days ago a rash of bizarre murders swept the country. Senseless. Brutal. Seemingly unconnected. A cop walked into a nursing home and unloaded his weapons on elderly and staff alike. A mass of school shootings. Prison riots of unprecedented brutality. Mind-boggling acts of violence in every state. Four Days Ago the murders increased ten-fold. Three days ago the President addressed the nation and begged for calm and peace. Two days ago the killers began to mobilize. Yesterday all the power went out. Tonight....

This was the worst listen in 28 books, mister Crouch needs to do a lot more research before putting pen to paper. To many to list here but one was, time and time again that the M16 or M4 were referred to as AR15 s. Phil Gigante same voice for most characters droning tone to his voice made it worse. The story was all over the map and no where at the same time. I wanted to like it listened to the whole thing hoping it would do something, very weak I hope I"m eligible for a refund. listen to SK 11-22-63 best listen EVER.

All the stories in this collection from Stephen King are related to the Vietnam War. King fans will recognize echoes of The Dark Tower series in the collection's first story, "Low Men in Yellow Coats." As the characters develop over the next four stories, King's version of the Vietnam War becomes one of his most frightening tales ever.

Filled with narrative stories, humor, and practical help, this book is for anyone who wants to live fully and wonders just what that might look like in daily life. Many people are lurching in the twilight, hoping to sing once again… living lives of quiet desperation, searching in vain for signs of life. St. Irenaeus said, "The Glory of God is man fully alive." For those who have been sidelined in life, for those tempted to give up, this book screams Live!

This is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death. And here is the bleak new world of the day after: a world stripped of its institutions and emptied of 99 percent of its people. A world in which a handful of panicky survivors choose sides - or are chosen.
