    The new book by Pope Benedict is a thoughtful work that, once heard, offers insight into both biblical passages and their meaning that makes even familiar parables like the Good Samaritan appear fresh and vital for today. Not a light listen to undertake while doing other things simultaenously, but a work which offers great perspective into the Pope and his view on the Bible for those willing to reflect. Definitely not for Catholics alone.

The author tells the story in a new way that intrigues the listener who hopes for more. Other than too little information about John Wilkes Booth, this book filled my every interest. It includes many key characters from history in a riviting tale you won't want to end...even if you know what happens.
