He does a pretty good George W. Bush and Obama impression.
That Al Qaeda wasn't very powerful or organized at all. They got lucky with the 9/11 attacks and others like it. Now they are all dead.
I loved this book. I thought it was the best of Will Robie books yet. Rich characters that were so full of life. I was sad when it ended. If an author can make me feel like I am losing a loved one when the book ends then he or she has done their job. Well done!
I felt like the book was pretty good. I think I just felt as though the author just made up a place for a 3rd book to go and pushed it into that. It felt like the story line was a little forced.
The ending of this book leaves off exactly where you wished it would've started. That will make sense if you've read it. Overall it was good but not to the caliber the other two books were. Just my opinion.
PS. I felt like he could've been so much more creative and descriptive of future technology. Think of the possibilities you'd have if you were talking about technology in 30 years from now? But he comes up with Net pens. That's about it.
I really love black ops/top assassin stories. I love hearing about the skills they need to possess to do what they do. This one is rather realistic even though the main character is very lucky, he is also so fun to read/listen about. Mark Greaney has done a great job painting the world that the Gray Man must live in. Constantly on guard, never being able to get close to anyone. It makes for some really great stories. One of my top favorite series without a doubt.
Almost everything. I just thought it was super boring. No Daenrys, hardly any Jon Snow. The Arya thread is the only one I even cared about. I literally found myself forwarding 5 minutes here and there to just get through it. It was nothing like the first three.
It is just so classically written. Good and evil. The little guy wins. No pun intended.
Works by C.S. Lewis. It is a little too simple to be compared directly to The Lord of the Rings series even though they happen in the same world and have some of the same characters.
I haven't heard his other works but he does a great job. The songs aren't my favorite, but that is just my preference.
No. I split this up over a few weeks because the theme can get old sometimes.
