In the wild, when a wolf knows its time is over, when it knows it is of no more use to its pack, it may sometimes choose to slip away. Dying apart from its family, it stays proud and true to its nature. Humans aren’t so lucky. Luke Warren has spent his life researching wolves. He has written about them, studied their habits intensively, and even lived with them for extended periods of time.

Would you listen to Lone Wolf again? Why?

If Jodi Picoult wrote it I'll read it. Her books always contain an ethical / moral issue with no clear right and wrong in the story. Plus in this one you'll learn how wonderful and fascintating wolves are.

Daughter of a cold, controlling mother and an anonymous donor, studious, obedient Elizabeth finally let loose one night, drinking too much at a nightclub and allowing a strange man’s seductive Russian accent to lure her to a house on Lake Shore Drive. The events that followed changed her life forever. Twelve years later, the woman now known as Abigail Lowery lives alone on the outskirts of a small town in the Ozarks. A freelance programmer, she works at home designing sophisticated security systems.

Where does The Witness rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Good read. I accidently shut the car door on my MP3 player several hours before the completion of this book. Had to wait until the stores opened before i could purchase another one, re-download and find out how it all ends. Actually had dreams about this story.

When Barry Fairweather dies unexpectedly in his early 40s, the little town of Pagford is left in shock. Pagford is, seemingly, an English idyll, with a cobbled market square and an ancient abbey, but what lies behind the pretty façade is a town at war. Rich at war with poor, teenagers at war with their parents, wives at war with their husbands, teachers at war with their pupils.... Pagford is not what it at first seems. And the empty seat left by Barry on the town's council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen.

What did you like best about The Casual Vacancy? What did you like least?

I loved Harry Potter and friends. I knew this was not a fantasy book but didn’t realize that there was not one character in the book I’d want to be friends with. I want entertainment that I can get lost in. The reader was good but he couldn’t save it. I didn’t finish this book. Don’t enjoy spending time with people I don’t like.
