Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she's made it out of the bloody arena live, she's still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge....

"Not every story requires a neat happy ending..."
    Overall

Mockingjay is a good ending to great story. Maybe it's not as neat and pretty as some would like but war never is no matter who the victor. If you have read the first two books then don't skip this one. Just be prepared for a more realistic ending than a fairy tale one.

    Overall

This is a great beginning to a great series. I really like Rachel Morgan. Shes goofy and awkward but still kicks butt!! I really enjoy this series and also the Dresden Files and Sookie Stackhouse.

Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

    Sara says: "A terrifying story"
    "blown away"
    Overall

I was compltely blown away by this book! It's not the first I have read about EMPs but it's by far the best. It was so scary that it makes me want to start stockpiling food and medical supplies!! The characters are extremly likable and some of the scenes will break your heart, especially if you or a family member are in the military.
