After listen to many excellent books, I finally got a dud...so I cut my losses and stumbles on to this book and author. Love it and the narration was excellent. I am going to look into the series now! Happy Listening :D
No and there is no comparison. He is EXCELLENT!
As a woman of Spanish decent, I was so excited to be reading a story I thought would go more into the details of Spanish life both present and past; however, their was so much one dimensional political story telling that I was left blah and somewhat disheartened. several times I had decided not to finish the book, but the basic story was good and intriguing. I have loved the other books I have read maybe because the unrest of the characters were not so close to home. Maybe because my father's account of Franco was different. oh well I still look forward to another one of Belinda's books.
I can't wait to hear another book by this author. so touching and beautiful. the characters were amazing.
Alot to read and understand. ...but suspenseful and interesting. Will purchase another one of her novels.
I was so taken with the details of both India and English countryside. ..the world Derulo characters and the very sweet irony....definitely will be put on a must re-listen to list. ♡
Long read. A bit slow, but worth the end. I need another one of her books...read all.
wow...such a wonderful story....even better than her first novel...love it so much. Great characters...read so easily.
a lot of characters to keep up with...Joyce does a decent job of narrating. would listen to again.
I did not want to purchase this book...it just didn't grab me at first, but I am almost thru all of Nora Roberts extended time books (more than 13 hours). I so enjoyed all of the book. Some a little predictable, but who cares, I didn't. I love the book. Didn't think I would enjoy a book that glamorized thieves, but it was more of a Robin Hood type....it was fun.
The New Orleans scenes. The family created by non biological characters.
No it's to long...but that's what I like...I feel I get more of my money's worth
#1, thought it wasn't posssible...I listened to the trilogy during 2013 holidays...it put me into such a great and pleasant mood. Made me want to finish tasks I didn't want to do so I could listen to the books. So Wonderful!
Claire, Burkett and Lizzy
Hard to remember....I just finished the whole trilogy...probably the "Message in the Mirror"....don't want to give anything away. :D
Yes...see above. It made me laugh...I want more!
I fell in love with the characters in the book. I felt committed and vested after listening to the first book. The personalities made me laugh and were so relatable
All of it...especially loved Lizzy!
Can't say enough about MacLeod...he must be one hunk of a man to be able to capture the rough and tough and sweet and tender! Amazing!
Avery...loved her...I want to be more like her...strong yet not full of herself...so real.
