I have to say that Judge Napolitano is fearless in his works here. In an ere where speaking your mind and telling uncomfortable truth that exposes lies and liars in the all powerful and omnipotent "Federal Government", it takes courage. Judge Napolitano shows how many areas of Federal and State powers are enhanced by lies especially during stressful times in our history
I so enjoyed the narration because Judge Napolitano actually narrates his book and he does it with the passion only he can give as the author. He gets into it and that really draws you in and gives the audio book superb accuracy when delivering the points. Judge Napolitano is exceptionally gifted as a reader, orator and writer. All I can say is he did the job better then anyone probably could.
When he is flabbergasted by the outrageous lies and results! Judge Napolitano puts some spank on it!
This book informs the listener, it can't be helped that you will become disgusted with many of the examples of outright horror perpetrated on the American People by their own government. I think there is plenty of emotion provided by Judge Napolitano's own voice and it expresses exactly how you will feel when you're listening.
This book is especially honest. Judge Napolitano is just that, a "Judge" and that is something I think is learned by experience at the job. It means you are not siding with anyone except the law. This enables Judge Napolitano to be incredibly clear and fair when telling this story. He shines a light on over reach, racism, fascism, socialism, communism and all forms of tyrannical power. He shows how even those who are good men have lied and those lies could have been avoided and saved thousands of lives. This is the politically incorrect guid to the history we were fed in school.
If you like Holmes and the stories told by Doyle, then prepare yourself for none of that. This is a spin off from Doyle but done so well with plenty of familiar characters you won't feel like you're in the wrong place. Horowitz plays out his narrative with his style placed in a familiar setting and all the Doyle ground work is well used to build his story on. This should prove an excellent listen as the narration was nothing short of totally brilliant. Top shelf production. Highly recommend.
Excellent stray and outstanding performance by Henry Strozier. Strozier really shines, he does amazing Scottish And German characters. While he does these characters he jumps in and out of multiple American characters which I realized was very difficult but his outstanding artistry makes it seem easy. The book was superb and the narration was exactly what was needed to bring it to life. The protagonist has many things to sort out while the plot builds and the details and mystery that unfold builds as the book goes on. Bass Tillman gives the listener insight into his mind, while unraveling the mystery and developing a terrific ending
The performance was exactly as expected, outstanding. Lewis was superb and did relate the joy, sadness, anger and sorrow with only what a brilliant narrator could do. He is actually an excellent actor as well as a writer. The story was well done and the details were superb, very well done so that as to paint exacting pictures. The characters in the story fit perfectly as do the time line and the details.
Once again, Lewis hits it out of the ball park with a great story and some good emotion woven in and out of the story. Lewis takes you far up into the Indian country and shares some real historic scenarios that one could expect at that time. The performance Lewis gives is as expected, excellent and well read with plenty of character feel in his voice. Great book in the trail series and looking forward to more.
Highly recommend if you like great cowboy stories. Lewis writes with excellent detail and delivers his works himself as a seasoned actor. When a good writer has the talent to deliver his works in a performance, that usually works out really well as he knows all the details of the characters and delivers an excellent performance. Not many authors are good readers but Lewis actually is outstanding at both.
The story gives the listener a picture of the westward life and the lexicon used is authentic with great attention to details that paint a really great picture throught the the book.
Just what I expected. Another great piece of work from David Lewis. Not only does he tie the story together from Deer Run but he adds some excellent emotion to the list of great work. His performance for the list of characters was really great.
Great story. Refreshing to go back to a simpler time where people are real and words were different yet full of meaning. Yarn for yours or see'd for seen etc, the Missouri draw and folksy ways about the characters brings a real feeling of Americana to the story. There is no confusing tough from good and bad. David uses an amazing assortment of voice and dictate to create his characters personalities. Great story, moments of genuine emotion. Highly recommend
Outstanding descriptions throughout the book. Simon Vance was brilliant. Highly recommend if you like adventure from the past on the seas
Shew! I made it through. Good God I thought I would collapse from listening to these guys telling their own stories via the documented notes and diaries Nomi used. She does a thorough job but it took a while to make it through 100 years of obscene banksterism and collusion between the government and banks. If you don't know this stuff then you need to hear this. If you're like me and know the topic well it's a bit trying to hear but still has good parts.
In the end, prepare yourself for a major collapse of the economic system as we know it. Thank you to big to fail.
Excellent Science to back his works.
The diversity of the effects wheat has on our bodies. His works are superbly spelled out so you completely understand. He uses some good humor as well. Not at all dry, great book. Loved it.
He is a great reader. He has good all around reader qualities. He does hard to digest material well. Legal, political and this book which is medical. All well delivered without feeling like you're watching paint dry.
I gave it space, I also re listened to some chapters as there are points that are technical but not complicated.
After this book. I eat NOTHING wheat at all. Nor have the rest of our family. All seeing improvements. Great recipes in the download. That alone is worth the book.
