I have to say that Judge Napolitano is fearless in his works here. In an ere where speaking your mind and telling uncomfortable truth that exposes lies and liars in the all powerful and omnipotent "Federal Government", it takes courage. Judge Napolitano shows how many areas of Federal and State powers are enhanced by lies especially during stressful times in our history
I so enjoyed the narration because Judge Napolitano actually narrates his book and he does it with the passion only he can give as the author. He gets into it and that really draws you in and gives the audio book superb accuracy when delivering the points. Judge Napolitano is exceptionally gifted as a reader, orator and writer. All I can say is he did the job better then anyone probably could.
When he is flabbergasted by the outrageous lies and results! Judge Napolitano puts some spank on it!
This book informs the listener, it can't be helped that you will become disgusted with many of the examples of outright horror perpetrated on the American People by their own government. I think there is plenty of emotion provided by Judge Napolitano's own voice and it expresses exactly how you will feel when you're listening.
This book is especially honest. Judge Napolitano is just that, a "Judge" and that is something I think is learned by experience at the job. It means you are not siding with anyone except the law. This enables Judge Napolitano to be incredibly clear and fair when telling this story. He shines a light on over reach, racism, fascism, socialism, communism and all forms of tyrannical power. He shows how even those who are good men have lied and those lies could have been avoided and saved thousands of lives. This is the politically incorrect guid to the history we were fed in school.
Excellent Science to back his works.
The diversity of the effects wheat has on our bodies. His works are superbly spelled out so you completely understand. He uses some good humor as well. Not at all dry, great book. Loved it.
He is a great reader. He has good all around reader qualities. He does hard to digest material well. Legal, political and this book which is medical. All well delivered without feeling like you're watching paint dry.
I gave it space, I also re listened to some chapters as there are points that are technical but not complicated.
After this book. I eat NOTHING wheat at all. Nor have the rest of our family. All seeing improvements. Great recipes in the download. That alone is worth the book.
The writer paints the picture in exquisite detail. You will see all of it and follow the narrators caricature wonderfully
All were great!
Yes, he is superb. I picked the book in great part due to his narration.
I was wanting to listen to the whole book marathon but made it a point to divide it up as necessary. Great listen, you will not want to stop if you like mental adventure. The science was superb.
Great classic writer, great narrator, excellent material. Not dated in the least. FAR FAR better then the modern day movies. No wonder they keep trying to create this story in film. Just not as good as the read (Listen)
Edward Hermann is an actor so it's delivered with the right feel.
This one is it's own book but Endurance, the Shackleton story would be one.
He's one of my favorite readers.
Many, to many to list.
The Atomic Bomb,Should we have used it? Could it have been prevented? Was it hubris?
If you ever doubted why and how that war was prosecuted by our elders, this book makes you realize, we haven't the right to second guess how that generation prosecuted the war. They paid so dearly and what ever the results, I am reassured they did their best. Use of an Atomic Bomb question? Not after this book.
Fascinating, revealing and honest.
Without writing a spoiler, using a psychic, asking why the abduction took place and hearing, "For Entertainment". Not so hard to believe. We're not dealing with good here, it's way past "Take me to your leader". More like realizing there are really bad things going on and some of them are for no purpose, others tie into the Shadow government that are so much the hidden hand. If you see one of these things, RUN, don't walk into the light and get the hell out.
No and he was slowly read, not in a bad way. It was paced well. Hi did a good job and I enjoyed it.
We are defiantly prey and not predator here.
Its refreshing not to relive 1947 Roswell or so many "Boriong" Nuts and bolts stories about crafts and the objects. This deals with an examination of what and who are inside those things, but what they are doing to us and asks the question, why. Several cases are presented and many clearly written accounts where your in their shoes. What would you do? It can't bring it home better. Well done and very interesting
So well written, so well read. The story is true and you can picture everything Simon Prebble reads in vivid detail as Simon switches accents and paints the picture with exactly the right tone. The writer is superb. This book so perfectly done, I'm having a hard time describing it.
None off hand. It's better then fiction because it's a true story and that is a knock out punch to the vast majority of contenders.
The writer laid out the characters so well, Simon could easily communicate their personalities and breath life into them with his amazing talent, it made the book a magnet. I felt drawn in, wanted to take every word in as I found it so fascination.
I was moved by the details of these men and their absolute and stunning resolution. You learn not only that a positive mind and cohesive unit can over come the darkest of things, but also how easy life is for us now.
I bothered to write this review because I wanted to be sure to share some enthusiasm with you, the one interested to know if its worth buying. I must elect to say yes, I am hard pressed to like a book and this is one of my top 5 books.
This book was far more honest and realistic then I anticipated. The truth and clarity is outstanding. I have learned many fascinating details not to mention a great deal of guidance which I believe can be extracted from this book. If there were ever a time to read a book on Jefferson, it would be in these modern times. It was fascinating to learn what went on inside this mans head. I feel small knowing his immense mental power and craft. I cannot see such a mind fashioned as he was, and as were so many of his contemporaries coming to pass in these ages. Are we ever to know another great mind such as Jefferson again? Listen to this book I never once shut it off for any other reason then I had to. I promise, it is absolutely engulfing and frankly, one of the most interesting books I've bought in a long time.
Edward Hermann was the perfect narrator. It truly is a top of the line book and Edward Hermann makes it incredibly pleasant to listen to for hours at a time.
Jefferson no doubt
This is one of the best Narrators of our time. No doubt on historical topics as he is the man for the History Channel.
Thomas Jefferson, the man America needed then and now.
A democratic Republic is not a spectators sport, it requires participation all the time.
Outstanding work, recommend. Jim's book is excellent. The end is so dark. I had to play it in spurts as the stuff being said was irritating to me in the least. The reader was trying to use goofy accents and changed his voice some-what which was annoying. The reader also continually miss pronounced names or people. Other then that, the main topic was outstanding and accurate. Jim tells the truth and it is not always what we like to hear. I found a lot of what he said to be "Eyes Wide Open" and not for those who want to hear a happy story because there is not a lot of happiness in the book. Strongly recommend if you like to know what really goes on and how we are basically kept in the dark.
Future esoteric by Brad Olson, same theme but more ET
Ok, knock off the nonsense with the accents unless you can do them correctly. Stop lowering your voice to try and portray cerebral thinkers.Wrong pronunciation of the names of people. That was something that needed to be crossed checked.
No, I liked that it was longer and I could listen to it in two or three days
good book, long was good. Please offer Future Esoteric by Brad Olson.
